  1. Knowing how GNR are when it comes to leaks and what happened to Skwerl, announcing he was on his way to get the music was a curious choice.
  2. So he took the money and leaked anyway?
  3. I'm just catching up on this story now. GNR gave him money?
  4. I mean, it wasn't released, maybe never even had vocals on it.
  5. I'm Team Axl through and through and I legit love Chinese Democracy, one of my favorite albums. But based on these leaks I can believe he obsessively tinkered with the songs that made up CD because they were his best ones and there's not a whole lot left.
  6. Were all of these leaks on those storage locker CDs? I stopped reading the tracklistings when they seemed to be numerous slightly altered versions of the same songs.
  7. "My sense of rejection is no excuse for my behavior..." AXL wrote that? Axl Rose? W. Axl Rose?
  8. It's possible that the reason this stuff has been buried all these years and Axl's so hesitant to release new music is because after all the time, the endlessly tinkered with songs on CD was as good as he had.
  9. I wouldn't say I don't like it, but there's about 10 seconds of it that I REALLY like. About 1:50 to 2:00.
  10. You could probably write a psychology thesis on Axl but he acted like a bitter, scorned lover for 20 years over Slash leaving so, as silly as it is, I believe Axl would be writing songs about it.
  11. Did Axl really care about Adler enough to be writing songs about him years later? Izzy, possibly. Slash, definitely. I'm going with the obvious guess - it's Slash. Axl had strong feelings about Slash leaving GNR, to say the least.
  12. To be honest, if I had these, I'd be afraid to leak them consider the fire storm it's going to set off. There's going to be Rollinstone reviews, it's not going to sneak under the radar of GNR and you don't know how they'll respond to it. If someone actually does want to get these out, I'd suggest getting them on the down low and sharing them as if you have no idea what you're sharing. "Hey I found these CDs in a storage locker" is a better defense than "I drove 14 hours and paid money to get these CDs because I know exactly what they are"
  13. I doubt Axl knows exactly where every disc with CD demos on it is.
  14. 2000 Intentions was the original name for Chinese Democracy, wasn't it? When it was expected out by 99/2000.
  15. Does it have anything to do with the number of people that worked on/written/recorded a lot of this stuff? Like if he dumps all this on iTunes, it's not just Axl getting the money.
  16. I guess they could have at one point been submitted for release, but those Chinese Democracy leaks that caused all that legal trouble weren't the final tracks on the album.
  17. Couldn't you legally own the CDs and not the material on them to distribute?
  18. Get Slash and Duff on Hardschool and just hook it to my veins.
  19. It's one of them but Izzy seems to make Axl sad when he left...Slash seemed to destroy him.
  20. The 22 second clip of Hardschool's gotta be about Slash.
  21. Just popping into this now.... Checkmate/Hardschool is banging. So, has this guy had this shit for a while or is it a coincidence that Duff/Slash have been hearing/working with this stuff lately?
  22. Rumors of Izzy & Steven returning?

Neil Young sounds like he enjoys making albums at this stage of his career. Axl Rose may not. That doesn't mean I don't want one, but if a near 60 year old man who's set for life financially gets more enjoyment out of playing life shows than he does recording, that's his call.
  23. Anyone ever buy shirts from that site? Are they authentic or reprint?
