Amir
Stumbled across this GNR fan site that's been down for more than a decade, http://rockkings.tripod.com/, and found this interesting tidbit:25 Nov 2002 : Slash, Duff McKagan, Izzy Stradlin, and Matt Sorum have posted an mp3 of their new song called “Pleasin’”. The track features the lead vocals of Brad Cox from the band Grayson Manor. Click here to download the track or visit BradCoxRocks.com.Obviously the links are dead, but I did a quick Google and found this on YouTube, which seems to fit the description, but there's no mention of Duff, Izzy or Matt. Now we know Izzy features on the final track, but is he on this demo with Matt and Duff? Bonham, I'm guessing you know about this?Old Blabbermouth article: http://www.blabbermouth.net/news/slash-duff-izzy-matt-project-new-song-posted-online/ Edited January 25, 2014 by Amir
wfuckinga
Probably VR demos. Duff and Matt don't play on Ghost
sploit
The Riff is the same as on Slash's Album track though. Isn't there a different VR song demo also called Pleasin'?
jonah
I remember listening to this years ago, didn't realize the riffs were the same
classicguns4life
Wow. This song is killer. Now let me clarify. The MUSIC is great on this song. Really really cool stuff, and even moreso if its Matt, Duff, Izzy and Slash. Only problem, that really kills the whole song, is the vocals, which are god awful. Singer sounds like a totally wimp and the lyrics are beyond laughable. "I'm a loaded gun, ready to come". Seriously?!That is funny that the riffs are the same, but its too bad they didn't release this with a different singer. Its an excellent song and the verse is the only similar part to Ghost. Rest of the song is a completely different track that definitely should be reused at some point.
salx
Slash said when they started VR Izzy came down and they wrote a bunch of songs which he feels would have been the best GNR record ever. I wonder if this is one of those songs.
Amish
Kind of leads in like You're Crazy with that opening riff
Free Bird
Fuck! They're needing Izzy to collaborate as a songwriter with them!
Estranged Reality
Yeah the riff in this version is great. Been a while since I had heard it.
jmapelian
people on this forum talk about axl's vault - but would love to hear slash's/VR's vault of unreleased music

appetite4illusions
The riff for this song eventually was reworked into the post-chorus of Buckcherry's "Crazy Bitch," which was also originally a VR demo.
