Not until tomorrow. Didn't see the lithos
Lovely - thanks for that. May head up around midday to see if I can snag one then but let’s see! Cheers!

Anyone know where merch is and what time it opens? Would like to pick up a litho but would rather take it home first than carry it around all day.

Anyone who was front centre of GC see the bald bloke get dragged by 2 security high pitch, clearly damaged raspy squeaking 'i aint done fook all' whilst getting dragged? Was pretty lively there for the best part😂😂
P.S - defo wasn't Axl
Haha yeah he was being pretty obnoxious, basically barging through everyone with zero gig-etiquette! Was just quite amusing because it was right during the Jungle breakdown

Keeping my fingers crossed for TWAT tonight, hopefully it’s 18th time lucky for me

Yeah, spotted that. Marvelous stuff!
Praying to the weather gods that the worst of it is over before doors open so it doesn’t completely churn the ground up. A bit annoying though as I’ve had to pack walking boots in case of a Download/Donington mud bath.

Is it pelting it down?
Not sure yet, just heading off from London now but forecast is showing heavy rain from like 3-6 or so and then light rain until 8.

Just got into Glasgow from London myself this morning. Wanna head over to the gig together?
Yes mate sounds good! I’m getting in mid-aft and planning to walk over after the worst of the rain. Drop me a DM and let’s see if we can work it out!
-
Any view on stage times yet? My hotel will be about 50 mins walk but looks like it’s going to piss down for a lot of this afternoon!

Just catching up as I was out last night.
So fucking impressed and proud!
Can’t wait for Glasgow and Hyde Park for shows #18 and #19 this week.
Congrats on the excellent performance

I was at this gig. They crucified him because he came on just over an hour late, and made absolutely zero effort to engage with the audience at all. he won them back during This I love, but then came all the superfluous band solos even though it was obviously going to be a shortened set, and then they cut at midnight so the set was less than 90 minutes, 20 minutes of which had been dizzy solos bumblefoot solos etc. The actual vocal and musical performance from the band was brilliant.
I was there too and completely agree. I remember saying at the time (and stand by it) that if Axl had been on time and had Slash and Duff behind him it would’ve been hailed as a triumph.

Slow YC was great when I saw them in 2021, and I think the Seeker sounds great too and has good energy.
Sorry to disagree but I really hope we never hear The Seeker again. I’m firmly in the camp of put in another GNR song instead of another cover.

Guns aren't playing the Legends slot this year, they're a regular headliner so they'll get a full festival headliner-length set.
The Legends slot is traditionally always a shorter set in the late afternoon on the last day of the festival, although this year it's a double bill for the first time ever with Yusuf/Cat Stevens and Blondie playing a set each.
Fair - wasn’t aware of that, thanks for confirming! Guess I’m just biased that I think Guns are Legends
-
Think the logic of releasing Perhaps at Glasto is a bit odd as festival sets, especially Glasto in the ‘Legends’ slot, means you play your hits.
On a similar note, I remember George Michael getting a lot of flack at the opening ceremony of London 2012 because he played one of his newer songs instead of his classics!

One would argue you could say the same thing about Shacklers from the Village leaks and the the official release. It’s barely recognizable.
Get your point but Shackler’s was a dingy basement demo whereas SoG had been produced and had actual vocals. That said, I don’t anticipate that SoG is actually The General

There have been hundreds of shows. Hundreds of mics that Axl has thrown into the crowd. Where have they all gone? I’ve just searched the www and can only find reference to two more, and I know someone personally who has one from a post 1996 concert. But that’s it. Where are they?
I have one

Shorter than the previous show. Something not quite right?
Surely setlist.fm is wrong, not showing Nightrain

Hard Skool listed as #15 but wasn't played, maybe some last minute decision?
According to setlist.fm it was played

I personally want Shackler's Revenge back, ideally with Axl doing the chorus in that London 2022 low grit voice.
Duff played it with GNR in 2010 right?

In case of any doubt...
AC/DC singer Brian Johnson can't wait to party alongside his old pals as rock and roll royalty get pumped up about this year's Power Trip festival.

Yeah that’s fine - I have been up town anyway so need to go home and change first. Wanted ideally to pick up lithos and take home rather than hold on to during the gig
