FINALLY it's getting interesting now.
As much as it pains me, I gotta go with PTU.

Locomotive, Estranged, and Breakdown are, hands down, the best songs on UYI2. Looks like only E will make it to the finale.
PS: I also like GITR and Shotgun Blues. Deal with it.
Obviously, I forgot YCBM...

Axl was the last person James would give a fuck to in 1994 when this song was being recorded.
Maybe off-topic but talking about Metallica, let's not fool ourselves, Metallica was and still is in a different league. Metallica's lyrics are dealing with much more serious topics than attacking an individual.
Axl on the other hand hasn't really been serious about running GNR (except '02,'06,'10). Otherwise he wouldn't hire a Brazilian prick to manage his band.
You’re right. Then again, considering he doesn’t really wanna talk to the fans, wants to be secretive about everything, and needs a brown-noser who’ll just carry out his every command, his choice was... wise. Unfortunately.

Got me for about a hundreth of a second.
Plus, if Slash left, I'd bet we wouldn't know about it for another two years or so...

two things i like about modern Guns N' Roses. First, they finally know how to upload Videos on YouTube. Second, they know how to transfer videos to 9:16 for Smartphones. We should acknowledge these small steps.
A giant leap for TB...

Bit more info on the situation.
Fucking hell. Tell you what, if this is true, I'm glad Alec Baldwin took the bullet for him. Literally.
I hate seeing my heroes grow old. And I guess this isn't the incorrect forum to say it on...

Oh wow! So much to unpack right there.
Errrm, okay you kinda pulled that right out of your arse didn’t you? So, no that’s not what I was saying at all.
It’s pretty common knowledge that he’s been struggling for a while. He had to be filmed hooded in a lot of scenes when making Glass recently so they could use a body double and had to dub his lines in afterwards. Likewise he was fired from Woody Allen’s Café Society years ago because he couldn’t remember any of his lines and also had to be fed his lines via an earpiece when starring in Misery on Broadway.
Also all these shitty movies he’s been making of late (over 20 in the last 2 years alone) had him showing up for one or two days filming max with contractual agreement that he wouldn’t work more than 4 hours a day. Once again lots of scenes were shot with body doubles with lines dubbed in afterwards.
Dunno about you but to me that makes a lot of sense in light of his diagnosis.
Wow, I didn't know about this, and there's always the question how much of this is true and how much just tabloids. I'd guess the truth lies somewhere between, as usual. But ok.

Makes a lot of sense to be honest.
How?? Not to me.
Let me guess: some people say he's been doing too many shitty movies lately, and so you think this is the way "life" is telling him to stfu? It this logic was legit, most of the politicians, celebrities, and other TV people would have been dead by now.

I think that covers things nicely😁
You mean Bailey. Bailey hasn't recorded since 99 (and Hudson hasn't been doing anything either). And whatever old Bill Bailey was doing in that 10+ different studios apart from the Village back then, it was probably just tweaking those 13 songs round and round for years on. I mean, all we've got so far was the Village leaks, hence only the Village material exists and nothing more. Makes sense!

I wouldn't compare 14 Years to Coma but Breakdown and You Ain't The First are pretty equal, I'll give you that

I'm really getting sick of all this Buckethead, Robin, the General, Perhaps, State of Grace, Chinese Democracy, CD 2, Village bullshit. It was two decades ago, get over it already. Yeah, there'll be some Axl's older stuff revamped, but we need something else as well.

As for albums, how long has it been since 2008? 14 Years of silence?

I agree with you, however I'll give you this. Ignorance is bliss and civilization is but a thin veneer.
Definitely, but then, not clicking on every thing concerning a given issue is not ignorance, that'd be too black or white.
Anyway, on topic: that Russian minister of war was seen again. Too bad, I thought they'd been fighting backstage or something. Assassination attempts, conspiracies etc.

I wish Ricky Gervais hosted this. I guess Smith would have shitted (shat?) his pants.
Anyway, I thought of him as quite cool, through MiB and Legend, but other things - like his rapping, his son the actor, and now the wife stuff - have swayed me somewhere else...
Just superficial tabloid reflection though.
