I hope The General is at least over 6 mins long. We're due for an epic. Also, hopefully this doesn't leak before the release. I haven't gone into a new GNR release without it leaking beforehand since Scraped, Sorry and This I Love. It's a great feeling. However, I would love to hear any previous versions that hoarders have after the release (especially if they remove Finck and/or Bucket in the official release).

Excuse me if this comes off as Pele-esque but this thread is only for officially release material. With Absurd, Hard Skool and Perhaps being officially released, how would your track list for a “deluxe” Chinese Democracy look? You can add the three “new” songs along with OMG and mix those with the official CD release. Spotify allows me to add Perhaps, but won’t let me play Perhaps as it’s not out yet in the US but I would put it before Sorry and after a slew of “industrial/Bucket tracks” as a mid-tempo, cool down track. IRS followed by Hard Skool as it appears on RM3. Kinda stuffed ITW and Catcher near the end for whatever reason. We got 18 official tracks to work with.

with Perhaps coming out, everything from Rough Mixes 1 is now released with the exception of Atlas. I hope we get another single before this tour is over but I’m hoping it’s The General. Throw Atlas on as a B side.

At this point, irregardless of the quality or your opinion on the material — getting TWO songs within a month-ish in 2021 was an unheard of miracle. maybe that pattern will follow in 2023. the hype for The General will be off the charts
