Why is this one any different than other last shows? I remember 2017 had a long one, but 2021 was business as usual right? -

Think I may do this show -
It’s trash, and I know it won’t happen, but I’d totally go to a David-Nick Pink Floyd spite tour

Festival sounds like a nightmare. Long lines in a billion degrees, poor organization, bad views, etc. Hope it’s just a few people who are overblowing things

Will Brian Johnson be less bloated?
-
Luckily there is no sign of him in the Hackney Diamonds thread or anywhere else
-
Have fun at the festival to those going!

It was spectacular! Awesome seeing these acts in the heart of Detroit. We had the best seats in the theater of 5000 people. No idea how I got lucky with last minute StubHub tickets today. I even got to sing into the mic for a few lines, one of which it was held by Otis Williams! Might have been my concert of the year

Seeing The Temptations and Four Tops tonight. Front row! They each have only one original member and they’re 1000 years old but it’s very affordable and it’s good to see some Motown legends in Detroit

Atlas Shrugged (November Release?)
ZoSoRose replied to ajyoli's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
I too am an insider. Hard Skool is actually still a demo. The real Jackie Chan is on the third album of the trilogy -
Hey man! How do you like the new songs?
-
No way, Sunny had a pretty independent personality. That’d be a shocker for me. Len was Sugarlyn (spelling?) for a while but it wasn’t a secret it was him

Tonight we have a good shot, I think. We’re in the back half of the tour and it’s now the same amount of time between Absurd and HS. They also have the Power Trip show, Friday, which happens to be one where they’ll get a little more coverage (not that they’ve ever really utilized that as a reason) Guess we will find out when Friday hits New Zealand

Perhaps - New Guns N' Roses Single - Discussion
ZoSoRose replied to downzy's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Personally, I really think his playing is just fine on the 3 leftovers. Absurd is a poor song, but the guitars are great. I love Hard Skool and think Slash completely elevated the song. I never thought the original intro and bridge really fit. Now it all sounds cohesive and the slide solo is really nice. Perhaps has solid guitar playing throughout the whole song. It’s a lot more understated than Absurd and HS, but there are some really neat parts that help bring out the rest of the song and make the whole thing sound more like classic GNR. Although it fits the song, I do think the solo is a bit underwhelming. I dig the Robin bend and the first half of Slash’s solo, but I think something more intense would have benefited in the second half -

This is the silliest of rumors imo. Perhaps and The General will follow the same format as Absurd and Hard Skool, then, maybe they’ll put out another 2 songs in a year or 2. -
Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny
ZoSoRose replied to Eric Cantona's topic in SEEN THAT MOVIE TOO
I don’t think it was a train wreck, but it was pretty unmemorable and unnecessary. Even if people hate the movie, Indy got a happy ride into sunset ending thing in 4. I don’t think anyone needed to see a tragic breakdown of the Indiana Jones character dealing with the death of his son and are lol. They are meant to be fun, pulpy adventure films. He’s not exactly a complex character and never needed to be
