  1. It’s funny, I usually feel that way watching a stream (for KOHD,) but when I’m there live, it just hits me right.
  2. Explain the multiple successful tours then. The YouTube views, the merch sales, the never ending interest in general…nothing is ruined. Nothing is wrong. The whispers about “where’s a new album” have gotten a little Bit louder lately. That’s it. And per slash, it’ll be in the works. So, everyone can chill (but they won’t. Everything is a damn catastrophe, apparently.) Who in their right minds didn’t enjoy prostitute?! Phenomenal lyrics, ripping guitars, and that outro is fantastic. If you don’t enjoy “Prostitute,” then you haven’t been a fan who understood “GNR” since 1987.
  3. The only thing I can truly agree with among these complaints is Rocket Queen…zip that bitch back to the 6 minutes ish it’s intended to be. The long KOHD though? That has some of the best guitar of the whole show. Leave it in.
  4. There’s no way people actually believe Brain was being serious here and not trolling the fanbase, right….right?!
  5. I read something like this, and all I can think is…and? How does that have any bearing on you or us or anyone? If you like it, cool. Without getting too crass…F the general public. The general public listens to shit. If we’re depending on them to tell us what good, we’re in trouble.
  6. None. You’re paying, and they’re performing to the level they think you deserve by giving you their time. What kind of fan wants LESS of a show from their favorite band?!
  7. Exactly. And all this “well it only has this many views on YT!” Who cares? Are you getting paid per view? Are you mad your band isn’t pulling interest like Taylor Swift? Who cares who’s viewing what? Only thing that matters is if you enjoy it. And if you don’t? Don’t listen to it again. Wait for the next one. Or don’t 🤷‍♂️
  8. I know right? Thats where the ludicrousity of these boards sometimes comes out. That just because they analyze every single live performance and don’t like the vocals, the shows are a catastrophic mess that everyone laughs at or feels ripped off by, thus ruining the idea of “holy GNR’s precious reputation.” Ain’t the case! At least 80-85% of the people have a blast and rave about the experience.
  9. It’s just odd to me, the dislike I do see (which is not universal, despite the initial post,) I don’t understand. Only because, we’re all here, we obviously KNOW the stuff like: axl is dabbling in industrial, axl loves loops, axl’s writing a song about child abuse, axl is hiring 3-4 guys in or related to Nine Inch Nails, axl doesn’t want to make appetite again, axl wants to bring gnr fans into the future and evolve the material… isn’t this EXACTLY what we’ve been reading about and/or we TOLD to expect? I like it. It sounded just like I thought “New GNR” would go. My only complaint (regret lol) is yeah it’s a little short and yes the verses repeat and I wish there were more lyrics. But overall, satisfied. This is where it was going, guys. They won’t all be like this, but it’s certainly no surprise.
  10. any “new releases” not including the ChiDem record. OMG (7/10) SOYL (6.5/10) Absurd (6/10) Hard Skool (5/10) November Rain 2022 (9/10) Perhaps (7/10) The general (7.5/10)
  11. if it ain’t in the jungle or paradise city, or if it isn’t about drinking and drive or “turn around bitch,” they’re not gonna like it regardless. And they’ll wish and hope and pray for 1990, which is almost 34 years ago already.
  12. Those folks can go catch a Motley Crue show. oddly, when I looked at the YouTube comments maybe 30-40 mins after EST release, I’d say 90% were positive, and a lot were well thought out. The other 10% were your typical we want Steven, we want Izzy repetitive nonsense. The folks who don’t “get” this, well, it wasn’t really intended for you. You’ll always have Appetite.
  13. Odd. I’m a prime subscriber though, so it might be different? Not sure. Good luck though, I’m sure it’s a glitch or something.
  14. I’m really happy with the song. It rocks, it pushes their catalog/style further, nice guitar work, & Axl dug deep into some old pain to write the lyrics…I mean isn’t that what Guns N Roses is?
  15. The more I see this “General” clip from the Hollywood Bowl, the more convinced I am that they wanna utilize some of the footage for a video for the song. Slash, who at first I thought was just rocking out, uses a whole lot of exaggerated movements in it.
  16. I’m hoping Dizzy does one of his tours and comes by my way (Philly.) Anyways, I figured I’d create this thread to keep track of any Slash, Duff, Dizzy, fortus & Frank, Melissa/brain (who knows) dates that come up for 2024.
  17. I don’t know if they were intended to be together or not, maybe the fact that they couldn’t fit together on side R necessitated a change? I do know, however, I’ll be listening to them back to back forever.
  18. Would I tell friends and documentarians and write in my own book that I wanted it, liked it, and continued having sex til morning? I mean, if we’re attempting to make comparisons here… You’re aware that a one night stand is different than a relationship where people invest time and more in the other person, right?
  19. This. Going by the story in her book, and not by the verbiage the probable ambulance chasing lawyer crafted for the lawsuit, she’s trying to back the train up the tracks. You can’t brag about something and say you enjoyed it on multiple platforms, and then change your story because there’s a temporary law that may allow you to cash in.
