Look for it during the next dozen times you watch the clips. Fine. Spend it on things that inevitably disappoint you lol. Seems healthy. Logical too. -

Gasps? They take 2024 off and tour in 2025 and they’ll still fill venues around the world no matter what. It’s so strange to be on a message board for fans of a band, and witness some of these angry posters predicting and/or wishing doom and gloom. You should really find something you DO enjoy to follow. It would drastically improve your daily attitude and quality of life. -

If that’s how your experience goes regularly, why would you continue to pay and attend something that you don’t enjoy or feel like you got your money’s worth? -

What’s the point of lying when there’s literally video evidence of slash jumping up and down during the song? Is that “static” to you? -

And he was doing a lotta jumping up and down! Seemed excited. -

Was it just the general, or was it the general and monsters? 🤔 -

I hope it turned out well and Axl was prepared. Id imagine that’s a little tricky/difficult live. -
The whole appeal of the ChiDem era and all the waiting was “Axl is gonna evolve and make super complex and artistically challenging stuff.” So here we are. Something that’s even further out there than anything on that album. It was really unexpected on first listen, and now I really dig it. I consider it pretty much genius. And slash (if it’s him) did a phenomenal job. His best stuff since UYI.

The next Holy Grail

Oklahoma or soul monster I guess. Oh AND the rumored Light My Fire recording. -
And what does the world need now, expert? B. So go join the “general public,” there are plenty of American idol washouts for you to listen to. Insulting this song, it’s actually shameful that you’re here. You need to move on. It’s not “anything goes” or “shotgun blues” and that’s the way it is, and the way it’s gonna be, and those of us who want to see these complex and innovative attempts from Guns, are happy. It’s actually disgraceful that you’re trying to insult this guy after he’s written about that kind of trauma.

Same. I feel like if the story ended after the spaghetti incident, they may have faded away. The intrigue around Axl is what kept interest from a lot of people. Sure, jungle, sweet child, November rain still would’ve been all time great songs, but without Axl’s 1994-2008 story, interest wanes. The promise of exceptional and progressive new material was what hooked a lot of us.

Wish we could get a dependable stream…in case.

I expected a variety of opinions here, hot and cold. Having heard them as one song, as intended (we think,) it’s an epic masterpiece. This is what we all thought Axl was capable of, hence why we followed him through a frustrating decade and change. And if that’s slash’s addition to the track, it’s some of my favorite stuff he’s ever done. He really dug deep to kill it on this track. Everyone involved should be more than proud. It’s complex, it rocks, it surprises, and it’s worlds better than anything else out there today.

After a few listens, and now listening to them back to back (as intended I guess,) yeah man. I really like this. And the guitars are phenomenal. Axl hits another vocal level at the end of monsters as well. for the people who just want Nightrain and anything goes forever and ever, obviously this isn’t for them. I’d definitely recommend to them, if I had access, they need to slap together a couple of party/jukebox drinking type songs. But for someone like me who’s been down with Axl experimenting and evolving for years, this is pretty awesome.
