And honestly, fuck doing their first show at an Awards ceremony or the Superbowl. Do it like Zeppelin did -- do a show for the true fans and fuck the rest of the world. They'll hear about it.

I think Wicked Stone woulda been a rockin' single. I prefer WOF over YAL by a mile, though. I don't like the singing in WOF but the riffage is killer. I don't even remember how the YAL solo goes which is crazy for me, haha.

Watching Rock Am Ring 2015 and that Roxy Show...

The band sounds tired, man. Slash needs to change shit up! I don't think I'm gonna bother seeing them when they swing through Vancouver this fall.

None of the songs seem to have legs... maybe Anastasia and Back From Cali. At least that Moshcam Sydney show just exuded energy and excitement from band and crowd. I literally cannot watch this band play YCBM for it's full duration. It just drones on.

I would be over the fucking moon excited if Slash joined a band that didn't have Slash in the name.

It's cool that GNR is still relevant in the popular culture... but it might not be, as a long time super-fan, for reasons you would like.

I just wanna see the AFD lineup banging away on a song, though. They have the same musical chemistry as the Stones... or they did.... it's all about the personalities and the meshing of styles.

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers were excellent. Although I just learned none of the performances are live and it kind of sours the whole enterprise.

I saw em in 2005 and he sounded amazing but yeah I think he's nowhere like he was nowadays. I've read it's because of the way he angles his neck up while singing.
