  1. Yeah, Hardskool sounds really bad which is a shame because the song is actually quite good.
  2. For me one of the only best additions by Bumble are the fills he added to IRS but I do love the original leaks as well
  3. The more I hear it, the more I like it. It's like a pretty good UYI leftover.
  4. I agree, that was such a great tone. TSI sounds brillant all the way, but just the super fat lead tone on SIDHY is sooo good. Maybe a bit too much for certain things, but I would love to see him getting back to that as "home base".
  5. The Like a dog album is great, I'd say the essential Izzy albums are: Like a dog JuJu Hounds 117°
  6. It would be so cool if that was indeed the plan and Axl agreed to "six months for writing and recording" as the way to go. A fresh approach for the Mac Daddy, you know?
  7. It sounds better than the other two, yes. But it sucks if you put em together in a playlist. Plus, a song like Perhaps would function a lot better in the context of an album, imo.
  8. That's probably it. And/ or she heard his Patience solo.
  9. Yeah...and, if you put these single together in a playlist they all sound so different, production wise. Perhaps is better mixed but quieter, etc.
  10. I really don't like that plan. I mean, I understand that for some reason this seems to be the only way for them to do it, but one song at a time is difficult to enjoy for me. Perhaps for example, that's a solid album track, would be kinda cool between two rockers on an actual album. As a stand alone single it's just...there now.
  11. It's totaly possible that Axl himself came up with the basic three chord progression of Hardskool's main riff. It's not like something as, say, By the Sword, where you can just hear it was written by a guitarist.
  12. I imagine them all in the rehearsal room and everytime Duff's trying to say something Pitman does some random noise with his keyboard. "Guys, maybe we should...BLEEP!!....listen, can we try....BLÖÖÖÖP!!" "AlRIGHT, ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!!" bare knuckle fight starts
  13. That's what rehearsals are for. Someone should tell Axl that it's NOT cool or edgy to mess around like this on stage instead of the rehearsal room. How about showing some respect for the ticket buyers?
  14. In the final version with headphones or on the radio it sounds good to me, really good, actually (the bend morphing into Slash's solo). The solo itself is just a little interlude, sounds totally like Slash and fits the song alright, imo. I'm surprisingly happy with this release...they fixed that mess of a chorus from the demo, improved the whole thing in every way, put out a nice video on day one...s'all good, man.
  15. I agree, the whole "old man's voice" approach he choose for the final version is a total brain fart. Really bad choice but nobody told him, apparently.
  16. Slash is not as great as he used to be and Robin wasn't great with original GnR's stuff a lot of the time, at the beginning at least. Both are great players though. Maybe we can agree on that?
  17. He did screw up a lot in the beginning, but this is cool as fuck. Great energy and emotion in his playing here, it's pretty close and respectful to the original as well.
  18. I like Absurd, I just wished they didn't do the "out of time" verses thing on the final version. I get it, but I don't like it.
