It's impossible to create new stuff that will be any good with this mindset, there is no heart, desire or passion left to do the name Guns N' Roses justice. It's over, forget about it.

At this point they probably should just go away and release stuff from the 90s. The General is pure garbage, unlistenable. If this is the standard now, please don't ever release anything anymore.

Listen to ANY song from Appetite to Spaghetti, including My World. And then listen to The General. It's so fucking bad, it makes Absurd shine like a diamond.

Ok, this is the official version now. I think it fucking sucks, it's the worst officially released GnR song ever. The ending especially sounds exactly like something Dustin Bones would do. The song is boring, weak and the vocals are ridiculous. The drums sound like utter shit. The whole production is shit. I'm 100% convinced Slash and Duff don't think that this is great music, they should be ashamed. Wow. This is the lowest lowpoint in GnR history, imo.

At least these latest releases will finally end this "Axl is a perfectionist" nonsense.

Never liked Better all that much. I really, really don't like the emo intro and the chorus sounds like something a student band would come up with.

The way everything played out with the "reunion", the release of those singles etc. it would have been best if Axl managed to keep Bucket & Robin (or get them back around 2010) and Slash did more different projects with different singers.

You're not wrong...I listened to it a couple of times when it leaked and have no desire to listen again soon. If only they would write NEW music like any other band.

The vocals ln Monsters are very Ozzy.

Yeah, musically it's kinda cool, Bucket is so good on this one. The lyrics really ruin it for me, unfortunately. Just too much cringe to ignore. XD
