I am the laziest guy I know and still go to work every day, always on time. That’s no evidence. Axl being three ours+ on stage or we working months on selected peaces of music doesn’t mean that he’s not lazy. Of course we don’t know him and do not know the true reasons why he decides to release music that seldom. I have no idea if he’s writing a shit load of new music, books or film scores in Malibu. But as long as he doesn’t release shit it’s totally ok to go with the obvious. No need to overanalyse things when someone calling Axl lazy when talking about to releasing music. It’s rather strange to tele diagnosis his mental health without knowing at what stage it is or what medication he’s taking. You just don’t know that shit but stubbornly defending Axl like you always do. It’s Axl, so you seemingly have to 😂

I mean, there’re still people out there who consider GNR a One Album Wonder. Somebody might say this is their opinion but to me they’re simply wrong. You can’t be a that if you have the UYI LPs in your discography.

That’s a very butt hurt post if yours 😂 But it’s easy to answer. You can be fucking cholera and still be better than half of CD. That’s why.

He’s the epitome of laziness when it comes to releasing music.

I hope his festival is doing good and he brings it to Europe. That plan alone is good news to me because I don’t wanna miss this. He just confirmed again that they’re trying to work on a new GNR record. I don’t doubt that when he or Duff say it. I don’t even doubt that Axl is as honest as it gets when he says ’ok guys, let’s do it’. But their work ethic is just so different it doesn’t matter as long as Axl’s the producer and works on it forever

I think every “new album” announcement by any GNR member at any point now is completely laughable until it isn’t. It’s always the right timing for being sceptical regardless who’s saying the album’s might coming.

It was already one of the songs I was the most interested in but comments like this don’t make it easier to wait…

I think last the last thing you should do is give Axl time to rethink or “room to manoeuvre” if you want him something to release 😅

I’m as sceptical about a new album as it gets but I think after they released the leftovers and are still going to release another pair of them and considering everybody is busy… everybody except of uncle Axl, it would be only logical if they had given Axl material to work on while they’re on tour. I think it’s a possibility that that’s what they have decided to do when they took a break for 2024. Slash and Duff doing solo stuff while Axl writing and recording new vocals. But because it’s the most logical thing, it simply won’t happen. You have to be a pessimist as a GNR fan. Otherwise you will be disappointed. That’s a principle I guess.

I’m not into country at all but he plays some amazing blues, too. “I Was Wrong”, “You Should Probably Leave”, “Death Row”, “Cold”. To name a few. And yeah, “White Horse” is great too.

Anyone still listen to this? I think it’s great but thanks for this I discovered some Chris Stapleton stuff that’s pretty cool also. Very talented guy, especially if he’s writing the songs himself

There are people who aren’t interested in rock music or in pop culture in general. They don’t know who Slash is. They don’t know Axl either. They might have heard of GNR but there are even a lot of people who don’t even know the band. I think for a rock guitarist there aren’t many out there more famous than Slash. The top hat, sunglasses, curly hair and the cigarette is a trademark. It’s what people think of first, when they think of the typical rock star. I’d say back in the day Axl Rose was the most known member of GNR. Now it’s Slash. Easily. But yeah, not everybody is into this kind of music.

I’m with Voodoo on this. I tended to be complaining about the fade out in the past but now I think it’s the best way to end this song. An amazing song needs an amazing ending. Stop it when it’s perfect and that’s the perfect moment right there.

I think if Axl would be willing to work on new material Slash and Duff were the last persons on earth who wouldn’t be on board full time. They might even gave him stuff to work on. Sorry but seeing those guys work ethic and looking at the records they’ve released in the past 30 years, it’s not understandable to me how someone can put the blame on somebody but Axl for the lack of new GNR music. Nobody can force you to like Slash’s music outside of GNR but if you don’t like his music with Myles then one should think you’d be happy if there’s a change, all the more when GNR music is no option. Again… Slash releasing solo records isn’t preventing GNR to release music. It’s the opposite. GNR not making music is the reason Slash and Duff have so many side projects. Considering this new side project is a great step back to the roots and very well produced by someone like Mike Clink😉. Again it’s ok if you don’t like it, but I think it’s obvious why others are exciting to get new fresh music by their favourite artists.
