  1. If I‘m not misinformed AFD was reviewed pretty bad when it was released. Nobody paid attention to the record at first. It took a whole year till it went number one on the Billboard Charts. No chance for a grammy back then. It’s a different story with yLies and the Illusion records, though.
  2. Nightrain You‘re Crazy (Lies) The Garden Estranged
  3. Yeah, that’s what I‘m hoping for as well. Another single in April or early May is a safe bet, I guess. Really looking forward to any of those songs and expecting long jam sessions, but after hearing these snippets, The Pusher, Crossroads and the Iggy Pop song sounds the most promising. Even though short snippets like this can be misleading.
  4. Thanks for posting. I guess we have to wait for another interview where he gets asked if he still plans to tour the record outside of the US.
  5. Watched this for the first time now. Fuck off, that sounds very promising. Can’t fucking wait
  6. Everything is fine as long as he doesn’t find his biker shorts
  7. I like the rock n roll chorus and the guitar as well. Not the worst song at all.
  8. So, anybody there with actual numbers after two weeks?
  9. But that‘s Eurovision. I won‘t compare it to Eurovision songs, the Ken performance from the Oscars or anything. I‘ll compare it to the Perhaps video. The General Video wasn’t well received so I won‘t compare Killing Floor to it neither.
  10. 2 million views on YT after 2 weeks isn’t that bad, is it? Someone here who got the numbers of Perhaps official video to compare?
  11. There are many low quality songs on CD so you’re probably right with your first sentence. Disagree with your last though.
  12. That was pretty awful wasn’t it? I hope she sounds better on Papa Was A Rolling Stone.
  13. I‘m pretty sure Slash knows how his projects are received, regardless if he uses his smartphone or not. I believe as long as Myles is on board he’ll continue with the Conspirators simply because it’s easy going. He makes music and can tour it. He has GNR for the big money and he still seems to have enough time for side projects like Orgy For The Damned and more. He probably needs all that and I‘m fine with it. The more music he makes, the better IMO.
  14. Pretty much know who’s showing up and who’s not… He’s already building up stocks for hiding.
  15. Corey auditioned after Scott passt away. Slash decided last minute that it doesn’t work with Taylor. I‘d like to hear these songs, though
  16. I already quoted them. You can go back and read them or not. I really don’t care at this moment
  17. Besides, he’s still playing arenas outside of the US. That’s where the money is with SMKC.
  18. I don’t agree that they’re finished as a creative entity because I liked their last two records. But I like Myles the most when he slows down and doesn’t use his high pitched voice. A blues record would fit pretty well. Myles did a phantastic job on Rocket Man and while it’s not directly a blues song it’s still bluesy and soulful. But after covering a record full of blues classics, it would be difficult to deliver similar quality. They’d have to improve their songwriting a lot, otherwise a project like this is doomed to fail. You know what, more important to me is not what Slash is doing next, but who’s gonna produce his next record. Listening to Killing Floor remembered me how important it is to have a great produced album with a sound that’s crystal clear and alive. I hope Slash never stops teaming up with Mike Clink again. Money shouldn’t be an issue since the reunion.
  19. Yeah, I just quoted you because you answered Rovim. I could have quoted him but I wanted to say that PYLO is also a great track.
  20. Put Your Lights On even more so. The whole record was very successful but I don’t think it was Slash’s intention to copy Santana.
  21. He already announced that he will record an SMKC record later this year and even if not… I guess if something is guaranteed, than it’s Slash will keep making music till he drops.
