Oh wow! Lol did Dj get one?
Lol no idea, at least one other person posted theirs online also..there was a thread about it a while ago
I'd imagine if Bucket or Bumble got one in the mail, it went straight into the trash
Lol those two did seem the most bitter with Axl after leaving..
I will say though that seems like a textbook "Thank you for your contribution best of luck in your future endeavors" scenario...why else send them?
DJ got one and posted about it, Frank too, I think even that Bubbles guy? Oh, and Jarmo got one too.

Interesting article, the logic is very plausible. Until Axl gives even the smallest hint what direction he's jumping in next I'm really not sure what's speculation or isn't.
It's weird that the GNR social media is also very quiet too. Still waiting for the "proper merchandise store" that Fernando promise us.
I saw an email in my inbox about merchandise a couple of days ago. Not had chance to read yet.
You bought something in the sale as well, right, some time last year? I got an e-mail too, asking me to review the thing I bought. Maybe you got the same e-mail
We hope you're pleased with your purchase, but whether you loved it or not, we'd love to get some feed back from you. This helps us stock up on more items that excite and fewer products that do not.
It only takes a couple minutes, and also helps other fans find the best products.
We're looking forward to hearing from you!

Historian or archeologist. But I probably wouldn't have the patience to do it. I know someone who studied archeology though, but she had an accident and her back was so messed up she never actually was able to work in archeology. The people I know who studied history, are now teachers or in IT. So I'm kind of glad I didn't choose that in the end. I would like to maybe study it later, when I have the time, just because I'm very interested in it.
That said, I've pretty much wanted to become a subtitler since I realized that was actually a job. I have tried other things in my professional life, but always got back into subtitling. I can't really see myself doing anything else anymore.

So, a comment on the link in the rumour show thread stated that Fernando posted on here that Axl is aware he sounds Mickey. Did he actually say that??
Yes. In a joking way.

I got 5 questions for fermanager.
Does Axl know he sings like mickey?
Does Team Brazil know they suck at what they do?
What the fuck are you thinking?
What the fuck is Axl thinking?
What the hell is going on?
All questions are meant to be light hearted.
Yes.
Yes.
Dunno.
Dunno.

Credit where credit's due. The source, the person hearing it on the radio, was none other than TM. He reported it weeks ago.

No one wants to hear those vocals.
I do! I absolutely love Axl singing Lala in my right ear and then going all the way to my left ear
EDIT: 3000 posts, yay, and I still love Axl as much

Went to Seattle this weekend and met my girlfriend's family for the first time.
Helping her move to Nashville in a few weeks.
I'm glad everything's working out for you, McCoy Nashville, that's your favourite city, right?

Today's my 25th birthday so if you all can just edit your posts from wishing Lithium a HB to wishing me one that would be swell. Thanks all!
I can't believe you're hijacking Lith's thread
Grattis på födelsedagen, CheapJon!

Thank you for sharing your experience, grouse. I'm genuinely sorry that you and your daughter had such a heartbreaking time. I am interested in hearing more if you're ever ready. But until then, stay passionate, there's not enough people in the world who care as much as you about anythingI am indeed passionate about this because I was a parent who was forced to make a decision like that and I'd honestly like to get back discussing this but it's just still to raw for me right now. It has been a year and our baby girl was only a little over a year. however for the time being Lio's post sums up exactly what frame of mind I'm in when discussing this topic
Why are you using a smiley for it totally looks out of place and it's kind of inappropriate.
Ofcourse he is passionate and caring about this, he just shared he had to let his daughter go this way. Something so heartbreaking, I hope I never know how that must have felt and never be forced to make that most painfull decission a parent can face ever.
I am so sorry to hear Grouse, you have my deepest sympathies and respect
Are you having a bad day MB?
I don't know, I think she's pretty spot on. Besides, she's Dutch. They tend to be pretty straightforward.

That's not my concern when palliative care and the hospice movement are such high quality. It's the question of choice. How much wisdom does a child have to embrace death as a informed choice? Most adults don't deal well with death of a loved one and few like the idea of dying themselves. Additionally, if a child feels like a burden on their family, this might factor into the decision hugely. Children don't have the perspective mature adults do.
Yes because letting kids who are terminally ill suffer is perfectly okay and the way it should be done. This is why people who campaign against euthanasia are against it. Legalising it has become the slippery slope they said it would be. In Belgium it's also legal to euthanise children. .
Yeah let's just give him/her another dose of morphine just to lower his/her pain ever so slightly until he/she dies by chocking on his/her own mucus. Congratulations kid you just made your parents proud by dying like a trooper! When instead you could've dosed off in your own home surrounded by loved ones.
I'd really like to hear from the perspective of a parent who made the decision regarding the time to end their child's life.
Grouse, you seem quite passionate about this. Can you give your argument without relying on sarcasm? I'd really like to know what your response is to my statement that children don't have the mature perspective of an adult to choose death before being cared for by the people who love them the most.
Evidently we disagree, but this is a very important topic and I'm willing to listen to someone who can discuss it intelligently.
This is obviously a very difficult subject and there is no right solution, no cut-and-dried answer. I believe parents will struggle with it for the rest of their lives, but if your child is terminally ill, it’s been in and out of hospitals, suffered more than any person should ever suffer, and you hear that no matter how brave it is, no matter how much it fights, it is a hopeless fight, your child will never get better, and it wants nothing else but sleep, no more pain, begs you to make it better and end the suffering, to me, it would seem euthanasia is the most human decision to make.
To me, letting go, be it a child or another loved one, is the ultimate act of love, as you think of nothing else but the other, not of yourself. You give up the time you would love to spend with your loved one, to save them pain and suffering. At least that’s the way I see it.

I think I finally met a girl I would like to be in a relationship with. We have a lot of fun together, and she makes great food. Plus, we banged eight times Saturday night, which is a new personal best for me.
That's great, Lith! I hope it all works out

I do appreciate the perspectives - I wouldn't have asked for them if I didn't - but you guys aren't making me feel any better about this.
I get that I'm leaving money on the table, potentially, but I'm saying I don't trust this shit from step 1. I don't trust the investments the organization has made as a whole, I don't like my investment options (which are pretty much go long stocks, go long bonds, or go long real estate), and I have no faith my money will actually be there in the end.
Look, I'm simple-minded when it comes to money and ownership. I laugh at my friends when they tell me they're homeowners. Why? Well, because they pay the bank every month in order to "own" that home, and if they don't pay the bank every month, they don't "own" it anymore. That sounds like renting. Like I said, I'm a simple man, but it seems to me we need to go back and relearn some vocabulary. So as an extension of that thinking, if you tell me that my money has to go to one of these 6-7 investments, and that I can't touch it until I'm 60+ lest I pay taxes and penalties, well, that doesn't really sound like it's my money, now does it?
I get what you mean about the pension plan. We have different systems here of course, but I think it's key to just spread your risks. In the end no one knows what will be the safest or best investment in the long term. So that's what I do, spreading risks. That way, I'm sure (or as sure as I can be) I won't end up empty handed.
I do share your concern about pension plans. I don't have other people's absolute faith that I will be getting every penny in my pension plan. But I have one anyway. Spreading risks.
Are you so sure about the investments you do? I'm at a stage where I don't think you can be sure of anything whatsoever, so I'll have a bit of everything
I don't agree about what you're saying about homeownership, but again, the situation in Belgium is totally different than the US, so what you say, may make sense in the US. If you're a lifelong renter, you may get into trouble later in life, since pensions are so low and I've seen lots of old people who hardly had enough pension to pay for their rent. Owning your house as a pensioner makes a huge difference.

So there are signatures of Slash, Duff, Axl. I cant figure out the other one, is that Izzy's signature? im a little confused between if its Izz or Dizz
Looks like Gilby to me.
Yes, pretty sure it's Gilby's.

I love Elevation. Don't like that extended intro though, takes too long. I like it better when it explodes immediately. This is the one I saw:
It's a very strange vid, but anyway.

I don't think I'll ever be able to live down this.
Aww, come on, Lith, if it's any consolation, you made me LOL.

For the Everything's Ruined video the band dressed up as GNR. Jim Martin was Slash, Roddy was Duff, Mike was Axl.
Huh? I don't see that. I think Mike looks more like Axl in Falling to Pieces, with the kilt on and the long hair. But then that was 1989, so before Axl got the kilt.
On topic: yes, I think Patton has always been a douche, but I love him nonetheless.

Safe to assume that all of us want more than what axl has given us since the formation of NuGnr.
But I was thinking..if you told me back in 1995 when you basically knew Gnr was over and you may never hear from Axl again, that we would have tours in 02, 06, 10 etc..and have CD in 2008, i honestly would have taken that and been very happy, so i am going to stop bitcin.
I am just curious if anyone else feels the same way?
Yes. Never expected Axl to be around for this long.

Wishing you a very happy birthday, MB

So what is the difference between nights 1 and 2? Are they just different setlists, but still both mixes of old and new material?
