Swimming pool in the town where I live now:
Antwerp has lots, of course. This one's in one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods, and it's not one of our own bands, so some of you may actually know it :
And this one is filmed in a club I used to go to, and outside in the centre of Antwerp:

Thanks, man. No need for a McCoy 2.0 thread. It sucks for sure, but I'll be alright.
So sorry for you, McCoy. I hope you don't lose belief in yourself again. Just stay strong

I this guy is misreading Tom Petty's reaction there. Axl pretty much sucked on that and Petty's look was more of a WTF than an appreciation.
Huh? Axl was an absolute GOD on there The moment Axl comes on stage, the audience starts screaming. I mean, you're entitled to your own opinion, of course, but I agree with AN here. Tom Petty was completely outdone and he knew it. I think it's pretty obvious a few times.
As for the rest: nice list. I love Axl's Sailing and the Freddy Mercury Tribute is one of my fondest GNR memories ever, always great rewatching that.

You know what is kind of hilarious? Following Duff & Axl's interview the media headlines were the following:
"Axl explains why Izzy isn't part of the tour"
"Axl doesn't know why Izzy isn't part of the tour"
And other variations on that theme. Which never happened. Axl never said he didn't know why Izzy was not part of the tour. Axl was asked and replied to the question on if Izzy and Steven will be joining them on tour. Which is a completely separate question from "why isn't Izzy part of the tour?". Axl answered the Steven part saying that Steven had joined them on tour, but he wasn't sure of the future as Steven had back surgery when they started this and didn't know how things would go. To answer the Izzy part of the question he said:
ie "I don't know, I can't predict Izzy". Which is the same thing Axl has been saying about Izzy for a decade:
That is just how Axl see's Izzy. It is their relationship. Izzy didn't have a problem with it before as he continued to join NuGNR on stage after Axl made the comment. However, I get that the past does not necessarily dictate the present and it might get under his skin now that they are at odds over money.
What I find interesting is that Izzy's tweet is an explanation on why he is not on tour with GNR. Which better answers the medias misconstrued "Axl doesn't know why Izzy isn't part of the tour" better than answering "Will Izzy join you on tour in the future?
Izzy tweeted:
People like to say Axl lies. I see no proof of that here. Media always spin stories. More often than not, headlines are misleading at best.
Isn't it possible Izzy agreed on one thing, or semi agreed, then thought about it some more and the next day said he would only do it if he got x%? Axl never said money wasn't the problem, he just said that you never know with Izzy.

Sure, the guy who left the band when it was at its peak has a life revolving around money. Not buying it, sorry
Um, didn't he just tweet he wanted an equal share of the 'loot'? To me, that sounds like wanting more money (rightly so or not, I don't know).

Izzy didn't put up with Axl's shit wanting to be the boss 25 years ago why should he now? It's called integrity. Guns n roses was a "best friends" band for him and he was just disappointed in his best friend shoving a stupid contract on his face. He deserves nothing less than the "big tree" (I find that expression really amusing) offering him a simple spot as a hired hand is insulting.
#TeamIzzy
No, he just wants more money. Talk about turning it around.

I just dont understand why Axl gets so much more than for example Slash and Duff. Is it because he is the owner of the bandname? Or does he work more than the rest? Sorry, but i just dont understand if there is really such a huge difference between Axls payment and Slash/Duffs. Or just because Axl is the boss and Slash/Duff are employees?
I don't know the music business, but Axl's the frontman. It seems logical to me he'd get more. And he kept the name alive (ahum) in one way or another these past decades, plis he owns it. But this is just what I think. It only seems to me that if they agree with that share, it must seem reasonable to them at least, so why should we worry about that? (Also, maybe the situation is different now there's a real tour going on, who knows?)

Agree with you - out of likes, otherwise i would have given you one.
I hope those numbers are not true. Why should Axl get 50% and the rest - especially Slash and somehow also Duff - get so much less? Is it because Axl is considering himself the boss? Is he the person who says who will get how much? Or because he owns the band name? I just dont quite understand that, because it is not that Axl is doing more than Slash or Duff, regarding the band, and being onstage, etc ... so there should be a more equaly share than that. Plus people cant deny the fact, that Slash is a huge point that GNR is doing so well again.
But regarding Izzy, what if he would get the amount of money he wanted? What would have happened with Fortus? If Izzy comes back fulltime and Slash is fulltime there too, what should Fortus do? Playing the second rythmn guitar? there isn't need for that. Fortus leaving the band? Something Axl probably would not let have happened.
If those numbers are true, it means Slash and Duff agreed to them, don't you think? Why would you have a problem with that if they clearly don't? Everyone's always praising Duff for being business savvy, and Slash isn't really known to be a naive guy either. But now all of a sudden you think they just fell victim to big mean, greedy Axl?

I agree with all the posters saying people are romanticising Izzy's part in GNR. I know he was crucial for songwriting, and I would love it if he would be writing again with GNR. But he wasn't there for the UYI tour either. He's not really needed on stage. Of course it would be great if he was there, but I get that he wouldn't get an equal share.
It's funny how people shit on Axl, Slash and Duff for being greedy. What about Izzy? He would obviously be doing it for the money too. He's not on stage with them because he wasn't happy with what they offered him. If his tweet is correct, they did want him there, but he only wanted to do it if they paid him a shitload of money. It's a bit ironic this is being called a cashgrab tour because Izzy's not there, when the reason he isn't, is because he wanted more money.
Truth is we have no way of knowing who's too greedy, Axl/Slash/Duff, or Izzy. No use in discussing if Izzy earns more than what they'd give him. Because we don't know what was offered, yet people here like to assume he was offered peanuts.
I just think the funny thing is some people obviously have double standards. If Izzy wants top dollar, he totally deserves it, if the others want that too, they're being greedy.
All in all, I just think it's sad that money is the obstacle (regardless of who's to blame, we don't know that anyway, none of us were there at the table to negotiate). Then again, I've probably been romanticising all of GNR too much

Yeah, old news. I rolled my eyes at it last week It's mindboggling to me how after all these years Beta still has no idea how to behave on social media. I mean, she isn't supposed to be just a hapless middleaged woman who doesn't realise the ramifications of whatever she posts on social media after all. She's supposed to be a businesswoman with decades of experience in a dog eat dog business.

I would love to be "all girls together" and say what a great break she got and how well she's done, but I just can't. I hate all the black and white stuff, there's far too much of it, you drain something of its colour and it takes away from the picture imo. Now AC/DC are all b&w too!
I was having a look through my pile of old tour programs the other day and I found a Chinese Democracy tour one, the one with the red hand on the front so think it was a 2010 one, they didn't put the year on it anyway...all the pics inside are b&w and it totally ruins in for me.
I got a couple of rock magazines issued in England recently for the reviews of the tour and their pictures are really good, so much better.
Yeah, Kat's not great. I've never liked her work. I've seen much better pics taken by fans on the front row. And you're right about the black and white. It's nice once in a while, but I like colour too.
Also, about Axl looking out for his friends and family. That's one positive way to look at it. There are other ways of showing you care. Personally, I'd call it nepotism if someone gets a job just because he's a friend/family, instead of being the best man for the job. Before you know it, all your friends and family totally depend on you, and imo no one benefits from that in the end. Knowing half of the Lebeis family is on Axl's payroll kind of leaves a bad taste in my mouth, and it makes me understand why people scream 'Leeches!'. Paying some little guy to pick out pretty young girls to party with after the show is taking it very far and just downright creepy imo. But that's the way Axl likes it, I guess. It's his life, his choice, but that's just my opinion.

Thank you for a great video!
So amazing to watch. It's truly touching to see how happy Steven was. Finally his dream came true! And I'm sure Axl, Slash and Duff are very happy about it too, after 26 years and all that's happened.
I don't think there's anything in the way of a true AFD reunion now anymore. And with that I mean a few shows where both Steven and Izzy turn up for a few songs.

It's horrible. We rented it decades ago and you had to ask for it, as it was behind the counter. The guy warned us about it. Part of the attraction was it being behind the counter, of course. I wish I'd never seen but, honestly, but gore is not my thing anyway. Come to think about it, my phobia for turtles may have been triggered by that film.
It looked disgusting, and I'm still disgusted by it to this day. The deaths of the animals and the sick scenes made me wish all the people involved in this film would suffer a horrible death.

also Arizona Dream, i watched it over and over again, Johnny was absolutely amazing in it. as well as Vincent Gallo and Lili Taylor
What, did you get Arizona Dream? I got the dvd as a present and we watched it with friends years and years ago, and we were just looking at each other like: Huh? None of us got it. Do you have to get really drunk or high to get it or something?
On the abuse thing: I haven't read up on it, but it strikes me as odd that he'd beat Amber in this short span of time while we never heard anything about him being violent toward Vanessa (or Winona Ryder! Time flies). That's what would raise my suspicion. Then again, Amber is probably a real bitch while Vanessa is a classy lady. (Just kidding, not condoning abuse in any way.)

Thank you, wasted. Incredible, the things you learn on a GNR forum.
I think you should get your own pet cricket, you could tickle it and organise cricket fights with the neighbour cricket.
