It's not the first! (Probably won't be the last either.) There was a hilarious one that I can't find. It's from many years ago, so I think it might've vanished with the cleaning up of the forum. Too bad, there was some really funny stuff there, other threads too. There was a Walll of Fame of Threads thread a few years back. It was funny, and sometimes disturbing, and very informative for a newbie back then.

I'm curious - are you grossly overpaying for them? If so, please stop stimulating illegal re-sale of tickets. They're alreaqdy stupidly expensive. People on Marktplaats who want to make a buck deserve to be prosecuted. 

That's one thing that's good in Belgium. You can be prosecuted if you try to sell tickets at more than face value.

I bought my Axl/DC tickets below face value on Ticketswap, but was so worried I wouldn't be able to get in. I could see the facebook page of the guy I bought them from, but when I got the tickets, they were on someone else's name. So even if the guy I bought them from was okay, the guy whose name was on the tickets could still have sold them on or used them himself In the end I got in alright, but I was panicking beforehand.

If an e-ticket is anything to go by, my Nijmegen ticket is generic.

The Werchter one has the TW Classic logo, but that's different, as it is a festival, no separate GNR show.

Makes me feel nostalgic for the UYI days, now that was a nice ticket, full colour on nice shiny paper

Not sure what the others like. I very rarely see my brothers, and even more so my cousins. Last time I checked, the 11 y/o was into music and shit, so I got him a guitar a couple years ago for his birthday, but I'm not sure what he likes anymore. 

I think the hardest one is my five year old cousin, because normally I think five year old little boys would like lego or toy cars and stuff, right? But he's developmentally delayed and so I don't know quite were he's at at the moment. Like, I don't wanna accidentally get him something he'll choke on. That would be horrible. 

@MB.has an army of kids in all age categories and she's crazy about toys. Maybe she can help you.

Don't know about Australia, but when I went to see Adele in Belgium earlier this year, I paid just as much as I have for GNR next year (91 EUR), and I had one of the cheaper tickets. But that was a much smaller venue (less than 20,000).

It will. It's probably something they put up there to prevent abuse by scalpers or something. I know GNR isn't that fan friendly, but to deny entrance to fans who bought their tickets via the official channel would be a bit rich.

TW Classic, the Werchter festival, sold out last year. There were 65,000 people.
