  1. I think Doug did say later that it wasn't why the band broke up, but it was the start of Axls dislike of Slash. Maybe Doug is really just trying to be reinstated as GNR manager. There was also a weird comment about Slash being aggressive drunk and he had to protect crowd? That was bizarre.

Yeah, he said this is not why GNR broke up but the reason why Axl disengaged from Slash totally. Like, it was the straw that broke the camel's back.

  2. Deep inside we all here know that Axl, Slash, Dougie, Beta, Izzy, Adler, Sorum, Del, Fernando and I don't know til what extent, Duff.... They are all big fucking liars. They all have lied to us in one way or another. They hate each other for years then they reunite and make love in a huge bed, then fight again and talk shit about each other and so on til the end of times. We can't trust this people anymore. We are alone and on our own here.

  3. I was convinced the trend in 2014/2015 was hating on Bieber, Kanye and Taylor :shrugs:

I saw an interview and somebody was talking about Taylor and said that she is most friendly and the hardest working musician that they've ever worked with. That she not only writes or co-writes her songs (lyrics and music) but t hat she is involved in ever aspect of her career - from stage set-up to financial contracts. In a world full of manufactured pop music, Taylor is the exact opposite of what most of us hate and make fun. She isn't just a cute character with decent voice that the Industry decided to get behind and make popular. She is out there grinding it out in every aspect of her career.

But because she writes pop-country type songs, and the media covers her every move ........then those of us who are edgy and cool, we must hate her!!!!!

I don't care if she writes all of her songs and even designs her own CD artwork manually: I don't like her music nor her signing and anything about her. I don't hate her. I don't spend time on the Internet talking about her. I just simply don't care.

I know a lot of musicians and singers I really love and am drawned to them that also write, sing and even play their own material. I don't see these things as extraordinaire since my favorites artists are mostly like tht :)

  4. I really don't perceive such hate on the web in general nor in real life.... :shrugs:

Guess it's more like indifference above all. Most people have best memories about Guns N' Roses and yes, many lament that the old line-up is gone, but it's not like that concern is consuming their lives, lol. Dude, it's just a rocknroll band, no need to oversize their importance or make it look as if they were some major state problem.

Like Apollo said, the Internet is full of haters of everything. Choose a topic and you will find tons of negative comments on it in every social network out there.

Here's an example of a "positive" thing, for lack of a better term:

  5. I just respect Axl as an artist and don't like to see people treating him like he is a piece of meat out in earth for our own sexual pleasures. We aren't ruthless savages on here. Respect the man and his art.

    :rofl-lol:

  6. I think they could have recorded 2 and held it back until 93.

But if UYI is seen as their last album then it doesn't matter.

All those guys were pretty close to death by the end. Axl seemed to have the idea for them to be like the Stones. They coodnt continue with same lifestyles.

Seems like parallels with Kiss where Gene and Paul were business assholes and Criss and Ace were the party animals.

If after releasing UYI1 they had gone on tour for a year or so, they wouldn't have released UYI2.

In 1993 they were already having problmes... even back when making the Illusions there were problems.... Slash talks about Axl tinkering the shit over and over and spending money and blah blah.... Releasing the two of them was the smartest thing to do, otherwise they would have been sitting in the vault, like CD2.
