  1. It's a thing in England too. A lot of families on lower incomes use store cards which usually charge high interest rates to buy their kids presents.
  2. Nah. 5 o clock is a great album but I rate WoF,AL and his solo album as higher. Tbh I don't dislike anything he's released but I do love some more than others.
  3. I don't know what Voldermort is, I don't know Star Wars. I know Bridge School though, that's funny
  4. I don't like vocals and I don't like how 'busy' it sounds. I didn't buy it when it came out because I didn't know about it, I only heard it when I joined the forum in 2015. I didn't follow the band after Slash left so I have no memories of NuGuns. I watched the VMA performance when that was shown on TV, it made me sad
  5. My bloke was at Knebworth 1979. My brother saw them at the Royal Albert Hall, and also at a pub in our town before they released their first album.
  6. I'm pretty certain it was a double-page spread in the Sun newspaper too.
  7. I thought he'd had a new tattoo then I realised, old topic new poster. Carry on.
  8. She came on here to tell her story a good few years ago. Very inconsistent from what I remember.
  9. Locking this for now as there's a thread just about Kat suing GNR.
  10. I find the way some spell vinyl funny and also 'rhythm' Of course if English is a second language then it's forgivable. I have decided that you can be the head of the grammar police
  11. As someone who grew up with vinyl- or LPs as we called them- I was so happy when CDs were launched, no more scratched LPs, and CDs didn't 'jump' if someone slammed a door in the house. I still have most of my old vinyl but it hasn't been played since the 1980s. I keep it in the loft for my kids to have when I die.
  12. I remember the name from back then, he came across as a normal bloke, not the 'Jim' follower type.
