Anyone voting for WTTJ in these early stages surely qualifies for a ban?!

I’d actually like to see OMG with Slash just to see what he’d do to a song that was a complete departure from the classic Guns sound.
Noodle out a sub par solo probably

I love the whole song. Favourite part for me is the jangly guitar.
😃 I think that is the exact part that turns me off! The ending fucking rocks though.

Think About You is awesome.
It starts off well, I think the chorus is the part I am not in love with.

Think About You is the next to go for me.

Of course. In reality, there could be an entire album almost done.
I strongly believe there isn't, and have been saying it for years.
I strongly believe the ONLY completed songs he has in his fictional 'vault' are Perhaps, Atlas Shrugged and The General.
I feared we never know the answer.
In a beautiful twist of fate - Slash has come out and said they haven't written new songs, they are just going to release the songs Axl has completed.
So we are going to see if I'm right or wrong.
For all the people bitching, and telling me I'm wrong. Stop worrying about it now. If I'm wrong, those songs Slash refers to will be alternate/additional to Atlas/Perhaps/General and everything I've said would be completely discredited.
Sweersa insists that Elvis and Zodiac with full vocals exist, so he'll be expecting these to be among the batch of upcoming releases.
No issues with Sweersa, he's the only one who has had the balls to admit he believes these songs are real, with finished vocals and ready to go.
What I find pathetic are the ones who defend Rose and argue with my every post, yet refuse to state they believe the releases won't be anything other than Atlas/Perhaps/General. These guys are checking for news everyday, desperately desperately hoping something new comes out - yet will pretend they are happy when it's Atlas, and that it still doesn't prove anything.
When Atlas/Perhaps come, it won't 'prove' anything but it will be even more apparent to anyone with half a brain-cell why these were the songs selected. And when these releases suddenly stop, and all these fantasy songs (Zodiac, Seven, Leave Me Alone, Ides of March, Elvis, Soulmonster etc) never surface, most will understand.
I think everyone is clear on your position dude, you've mentioned it a couple of times now.

Anything Goes for me, Think About You is not far behind though.

Well it's a good thing I don't expect you or even want you to get on board! It's how I feel about those songs ... I personally find If The World to be one of Axl's greatest vocal performances
Can't knock the performance, but surely the lyrics are some of his worst.

Just a quick bump in case anyone wanders in here after being disappointed by the D&N section. You can now stream our new album in all the usual places. It is also available to purchase:
https://dirtysnakemouth.bandcamp.com/album/catharsis
Anyone who buys the album will be able to download the tracks in file format of their choice or stream through the Bandcamp player. You will also get bonus content not available anywhere else, including an alternative version of Reach Out, one of the songs on the album.
Happy New Year!

I haven't been in this section much recently. I check on the news section very few days in the vain hope that there may be some actual news, but always leave disappointed. Anyway, after 6 months of pretty intensive lyric writing and vocal recording, I am proud to say that we have a 15 track album that was uploaded to the distributor yesterday and will be released on New Years Eve. Huge amounts of work have gone into this release and it is a great feeling having it in the calendar for release. Don't bother going out and paying over the odds for NYE drinks, stay at home and stream this instead...
You hear our singles on Spotify:
Hope the one or two people who listen to it enjoy it!

Nice, I will try those EQ settings and see how I get on, these are the best bass sounds I have got on record so far:

Thanks! I have the same kind of bass and amp what during the UYI recordings and a chorus as well. Imo these are the key elements to get his tone.
Haha. I'll bet it is! I am using a cheap Chinese bass and a free VST, how do you set the EQ on your amp?
-
Great playing man! How did you get the bass tone on Your Could Be Mine? Sounds epic!

Thanks for listening. Yeah, I just did the Bernie Taupin thing on this. Had the title and some lyrics and I emailed them to @SoundOfAGun. We worked together tweaking the lyrics. Then, he took it and totally knocked it out of the park with the music and vocals. I've worked with a lot of musicians but this guy is special. It was an honor working with him.
Get over to the UK and we will track some stuff! Move The Needle was great fun to work on, set the bar high for the next one!

Listened to a couple of your tracks, enjoyed the overall vibe, you have a cool voice and the guitars sound like they should, 15 dollars for a discography is a bargain!
