Aliens are real. We are a tiny spec in the universe. A new GnR LP from scratch is impossible. Never going to happen. in 30 years Axl has released 1 album which he recorded in his absolute prime over a 10 year period. He's 61 and hasn't even started on new material and can only sing baritone. We're so desperate for the scraps leftover form chinese, because we know that is it. There won't be new GnR music after this. That's probably why he is longing it out so much. If we get all 10 remaining songs over 10 years, there'll be no want or expectation of an album from a 70 year old Axl. Enjoy Atlas, Perhaps the general over the next few years. And the next SMKC album. that's the closest we'll ever get to GnR

Listen to slash murder the sorry solo yesterday. No one is suggesting 4tus should be the new lead instead of slash. But richard should take lead on all chidem and cover songs, slash lead on all classic gnr. If they are actually doing new music (lol course they aint) then obv slash would be main lead but richard could have the odd lead part.

Just listened to Sorry. My word Slash is awful on this song. It's like he's playing a completely different song. He's out of time on chord changes, he comes in too late on the solo and finishes it late, noodles badly. Let 4tus play it. It's almost like slash wants people to think this song is shite. he ruins it. People can talk about axls weak falsetto. Not much we can do about that. Slash could at least learn the solo

You have heard OMG, it got released over 20 years ago. A slightly different version also got leaked. Why on earth would you rather they re release something we already have than something completely new and unheard? If you like OMG, you can literally just listen to it! It's out, we don't need an identical version with an out of place slash blues solo over it. State of grace on the other hand could be their best song since the breakup if a great vocal and slash solo are added.

Atlas is the most radio friendly song from the leaks and should have been the one they released first. it's got a catchy poppy chorus. It's also lyrically kind of relevant compared to the other songs. It's not gonna set the world on fire but it'll get mainstream radio play (if promoted properly like a normal band). Hard skool was a good rock radio single that died because they gave it zero promotion and marketing and a pathetic 3 month late lyric video. Absurd was bizarre, though i like it. Perhaps is probably the next most mainstream radio song from those. But it's chrous isnt catchy or poppy or singalong, so less mass appeal than atlas would have.

Ah you've got the leak of the general!? awesome can you send it to me please

exactly! why is this!? That is beyond a reach. perhaps is 100x easier to sing in his low voice than twat or prostitute.

Gig Day v Tour Truck T-shirt differences.
JimiRose replied to Oxford's topic in GUNS N' ROSES - DISCUSSION & NEWS
Agree, front printed tees are much better Are they cheaper on the merch truck? I got a tee at hyde park, but £40-45 for a t shirt is just criminally insane. The quality is good without being top of the range. but £45 for a vest top blew my mind. -
I like Dizzy. I'm sure half the people that go to GnR gigs don't give a fuck about anyone other than axl and slash. But the other half do. And if you're going to be pedantic, joe public dont give a shit about axl and slash anymore, they're hasbeens and not relevant in pop culture or modern music. But if you like GnR, more than scom and NR, then you probably know of dizzy. He's a yes man and an axl soilder that just goes with the flow. But lets not denigrate him to just some session guy who happens to have been in GnR for 33 years.

You care, you keep going on about no one caring about keyboard players in rock bands, then someone corrects you and proves that loads of people do and then you go off again on the same point. Are you Pele? At least pele was right.. you ain't.
