GnR are a legacy act (a poor one too) pretending they're a creative force just enough to keep suckers paying those extortionate prices. Or you could wake up and demand new music.

Everyone here cumming their pants at the idea GnR are playing bad obsession and pretty tied up. Pull yourselves together. They will butcher them. I think you have to add in everything else that has been said 'all new show' 'We have no setlist' 'The show is so exciting' 'we have 5/6 new songs recorded, 1 or 2 are going to be released this summer i think' (summer 2022) 'the new album is ready to go in 3-6 months' (the MANAGER of the band in 2019 or 2020?) the constant 'teasing' by slash and duffs partners. They know exactly what they are doing and it wouldn't surprise me if its come from the shitty management. 'We're struggling to sell tickets susan, can you say you've heard a new song and its epic?' Or Meegan 'accidentally' streaming a few seconds of unheard songs in rehearsal etc. its almost as if they have a running bet on how long they can mug off their audience for and get away with it.

I think the term brown nosing was the term earlier used. jarmo has the job already, Axl won't hire you, so better to be honest and call it out rather than defending every terrible thing they do. And I disagree. They do owe me. If i buy a high priced ticket to a show and get the performance we got at the Tottenham hotspur stadium, then i feel short changed. Do I get my money back? If Slash gives an interview that says new music is coming (and fortus et al) and I think yes I want to be at a show where they play that new music, and go, then they do not play any new music, again I am being short changed. You keep describing GnR as a product and transaction. That's fine. I am not happy with the product I am paying for and I am being lied to in order to spend my money on said product. I think the point people make here Mr S.Monster, is not that GnR have to be particularly prolific in their releases, just that they have to release something. I wouldn't say metallica or RHCP are 'Prolific'. an album every 5/6 years? tends to be there cycle since early 00s. If GnR did that, there'd be no moaning. 1 album in 30 years though.... the same tour for 7 years straight. I know GnR can do no wrong in you or jarmo or SoE eyes, but actually they're quite shit. in terms of post 2011. We can all be fans of what GnR were and we all spend our money and time on the band, so the 'If you don't like it, fuck off' argument doesnt wash. We're invested. As paying fans it also gives us the right to criticize the product. If I came here and never seen the band or given them a penny and said they were shit, then I'm the asshole. If I have seen them 14x and have a tattoo on my leg of the AFD cross then I have every right to say they're a bunch of money grabbing cunts if that's what i perceive them to be. The out of time vocal on absurd is deliberate - it moves half a beat more into time each verse until it is in time for the final verse. This is just studio trickery to probably attempt to give the song some edge as it is generally quite basic. The rest I totally agree with

The Key here is 'Axl Said' if history has taught us anything about Axl, is that he might not be telling the truth. he said there were 32 songs done in 2006. He probably is telling the truth in this case, but again, means little because Axl is so capricious in his nature. Plus it's clear and obvious now, GnR will only release new music that has slash and duff playing on it, and they only did 5/6 reworks. So there is no longer a new album ready to go or ever coming from that era. We do have a tour that is tanking in terms of sales and 3/4 songs sitting waiting to be released though... why those are not being released ASAP? It just shows how terrible this band are at doing anything remotely positive or smart.

We already know there isn't an album. Slash said they did 5/6 songs. they've released 2. leaves 3-4. Yes there are 15/16 songs in the vault we know of, but they've not all been done by this version of the band. So I'd imagine those songs are dead forever (bar a Chinese democracy 20th anniversary release as unreleased tracks) What doesnt make any sense is that these 5/6 songs have been ready for 2 years and we've only had 2 of them over 18 months ago. explain it......

Billy Corgan is still a god. He still doesn't give a fuck. Even if the new album was trash, he is an artist. You see that when playing live and in all the different styles of the pumpkins music. Axl is nothing compared to him in term so artistry. For a guy who wanted to bury appetite hes made a career playing it live for 20 years. It's sad. Sad for GnR sad for the fans. But hey they're all worth millions so who cares right? because money is all that matters to some.... sad sad sad

Never understood this. DJ was by far the most popular member of NUGNR with the crowds at gigs, and on social media. It was literally only on this forum where he was derided by the majority. he always got the biggest reception (besides Axl) from the crowd. He also has the biggest 'celebrity' and also due to his work with motley was probably the best musical fit with classic GnR. Of course he was nowhere near the musician as some of the other members Axl had, but i feel coz he wore a top hat, came across slightly emo and dared to use GnR to further his own brand, Mygnr must forever hate and shit on him.

Yes, I did it for Muse at O2, waited until 6pm on show day, got them for £40. Kiss O2, again 6pm show day £30. ACDC about 4pm showday £55 Wembley stadium. Prophets of Rage were sold out i think o2 forum kentish town, but got at face value an hour before they went on. If you don't want to pay over the odds then you have to be prepared to wait until the very last minute. However you can't be picky about where you sit or stand. What's there is there and you snatch it up as cheap as possible. It's a brave thing to do! this was all between 2015-2019, i havent done it since the pandemic.
