yeah I'm still going to go to GNR shows as long as Slash is in the band.  I'm wondering what gimmick they will resort to to sell tickets though.  I was thinking that it would be cool to get a free download of the new album (if there is one) when you buy a ticket, but I don't think anything is free in the GNR world anymore. 

how poor do ticket sales need to get before we have an AFD5 reunion/ tour?

in my opinion, Rhiad was what made CD seem like it wasn't a GNR album.  just overall not great.

agreed.  of the Vaccine passports become a real thing, then I can't see why these dates won't happen.  ticket sales are something else though.

Axl turns 60 in 2022.  so next show will sound the same, end a little earlier and add 5 more Duff songs and a 45 minute rocket queen instrumental section in order to give Axl breaks to eat his applesauce while he yells at an episode of wheel of fortune as well as to allow time for  his "pit crew" change out the orthotic pads in his leprechaun boots  and add neat little skeleton tennis balls to his walker.  

no new music bc there's no way he can remember new lyrics.  lol

I believe he couldn't find a place to fit a tattoo of the skull of Chris Pittman on the AFD cross on the other arm, so he drew that one his left wrist.  then they had a falling out so he covers that tat with a functioning watch.  and now we know why he isn't late anymore

regarding wasted talent, one put out albums and never toured.  the other toured and didnt put out new albums.  it kind of evens out.... both wasted something.  makes me wonder which one hates the fans more.....

I totally agree.  it's just a song that some people may or may not sing along with.  not saying it's the easiest job in the world, but let's be honest, where he's from he should either be delivering pizzas at Annie's (which he'd get fired for late deliveries) or be in jail.  or maybe have a tough as shit labor job outdoors in the hot summer or cold ass winter, barely being able to make enough to buy a record after paying rent and child support and legal shit.  

so maybe he should take a step back and realize how lucky he is, not take this shit so seriously,  bc his life could have been very very different.  just release something and at the end of the day, it's just a fucking song. not the cure to cancer

I remember how exciting it was.  we didn't even know who was even in the band at that point. I remember Adler had a show in LA that same night and it was cancelled a few weeks before.... so I was hoping that he was gonna be the drummer.  or atleast make an appearance. its weird to think that it's been 5 years and we still don't really have clarity of what was going on at that time with Pittman, Adler and Izzy. butt hen again this is GNR Soni guess that's expected. 

I love how Eddie Trunk was at the first Vegas show and I guess Axl broke the Axl DC news to him there and also promised Eddie the first interview.   5 years later and Eddie still doesn't have that interview.  

I like UYI as is, but would agree musically it would have been better without the filler. 

the double album was smart in retrospect due to the fact that the band was falling apart and that they needed a huge pay day to cash in on the first albums success- so a double albums was the way to go. 

that bring said, double album is definitely NOT the way to go if they ever release new music again.  keep it short and sweet, no filler.  I was going to say release an LP every 12 months, but this is GNR so that's never gonna happen.  music today is like the news- very short cycle 

I had a weird dream where Slash and I were out shopping for bicycles.  I kept reminding him that he needed to get to the studio to finish new GNR album, but he was more concerned with getting a basket that looked like an upside down top hat to put on his handle bars.

I don't dare even try to interpret what that dream meant.  lol.
