There's a new album hidden inside the pinball machines, all you have to do is 1) buy the pinball machine, and 2) take a sledgehammer to said pinball machine in order to access the new album.

It sets you back only a few thousand dollars! What's not to love?

I ordered it from Amazon in August, with the ship date to be 10/9. Then when I looked at the order again, Amazon had changed the ship date to 10/30. So I just ended up cancelling. I had bought a copy of the Walmart splatter vinyl, anyway. Didn't really see myself needing another color.

This Greatest Hits set is a hastily thrown together package, a money grab. Perhaps anyone who gets a copy with the backwards photo will have a potential collector's item if UMG decides to fix it in the future.

I elected to buy the import vinyl from Amazon, with the gold/red/white splatter. Their current price is $47.99, which could drop a little more before it's release date.

For whatever reason, I don't have much interest in the picture disc.

Come to think of it, I haven't listened to Chinese Democracy from start to finish in probably seven or eight years now. There's a lot of material that doesn't hold up, in my opinion, along with the whole "this isn't really Guns N' Roses" thing.

I'm not optimistic, but the label could move a lot more copies of the Greatest Hits on vinyl if there was a hidden new track on one of the sides.

Or they could tell people to play the records backwards, and every song will sound as if it was something new.

I don't know if this has already been discussed in the official merchandise thread, but there is now a t-shirt commemorating the release of the Greatest Hits on vinyl. It looks decent. Can be bought seperately, or with the picture disc or 2 LP as a bundle package.

It's too bad Irving Azoff didn't pan out. Funny how Axl was claiming Azoff was scheming to get the old band back together, and to tour with the reunited Van Halen.

I have no doubt that Azoff would have gotten new music from the band if he was in charge. Fernando just makes decisions, or lack thereof, based on Axl's feelings on a given day.

The official merch store has Appetite For Destruction available on red cassette. Don’t know if anyone’s interested. I figured I would grab one. I’ve had the blue one for a couple of years now.

I sent an email to initiate a refund this morning. First email I received in response was that my credit card would be refunded after the 30 day window for all refund requests had closed.

Then later, I got the email with the July 27th announcement, and after the rescheduled date was announced, I'd have 30 days from that point to request a refund.

I fucking hate Ticketmaster, they're just going to drag this refund shit out for as long as possible. The only way I decide to keep my tickets is with a new album release before the rescheduled date in 2021.

I have no interest in hearing it. Probably about as good as Sheryl Crow’s cover of “Sweet Child O’ Mine”.
