  1. Almost mimic’ing the Glasgow setlist at this point
  2. I’m over covers but I’d they’re going to do them I Wish they’d bust out more spaghetti era songs like SIDHY, Black Leather, ain’t it fun, Buick Mckane, and for my humor I’d love to hear axl attempt human being. Also love it if they threw a curve ball and played sympathy.
  3. Never know they could play new songs and not release them for a long time until album. Used to be that’s how it worked. I could see these guys doing that. I’d really like to hear Oklahoma, Curly Shuffle and Elvis most. I think being on and off the forums with all of you guys talking about the general super far back when I went under different names for the last 23+ years has made me curious about the general too. Man more and more I’d like to see the legalities of if/how many albums GNR owes UMG? Is there even any owed at this point? Id also love to see the NDA’s/contracts that the 96-2014 dudes signed and the ones axl grease, slice and FfuD all signed in 2016 too. That type of stuff interests me.
  4. Never know “the general” could just be referring to the old intro of the general they used to start shows with. Might not refer to the actual song. could also be general Intro. Like the one they always use. Seeing is believing I suppose. I can’t imagine them opening a show with a brand new song.
  5. Eh AFI was cool man. At least up until 2003/04ish. I really liked their records prior to sing the sorrow. Reminded me of a modern misfits at least at that time.
  6. Man if Better were released 98-2000 during years I was jr/sr in high school it would’ve been massive as a single IMO. Really pre-2003. I think that’s when a lot of music really took a crap. The whole Emo/screamo crying stuff. Grown men sounded like they were castrated. Made no sense to a 21 year old me at that time.
  7. Myles is hit or miss for me. I liked him more in the mayfield four years ago his first band. Of all the slash singers Dover is the one to me who was best. I really wish/wished he’d done more snakepit albums but had Dover. Jackson was okay but I put him about same as Kennedy. Some good songs from all of them though.
  8. I’m 41 so I’ll go all over. I’ll go with ones I feel I have spent most time with California Games NES Mike Tyson’s punch out nes dusty diamond’s all star softball nes mortal kombat snes nba jam te snes Quake PC tony hawk pro skater PS1 Madden ps4 mlb the show ps4 nba 2k ps4 It would be easier to do this by systems.
  9. More and more I think someone hit the nail on the head. I bet they really don’t release anything substantial until that sanctuary 20 year contract ends in 2025 and Axl Grease gets his credits back. Forgot they actually spoke of 60-70 songs 3-4 lists of completed songs. Just re-read Chinese whispers. I did notice some things have been changed in there or taken out. —Gimmie some reggae!
  10. People having fun on setlist.fm Someone bag o dicks put seven, Cuban skies, atlas, perhaps and genral. So annoying.
  11. I would assume anything that people played is owned by the band itself. Doesn’t matter who wrote it. I’ll bet that was in their contracts of some sort. On a side note. Anyone else see the new graphic for Hyde? Has all current members. Something important to note is when 4tus shared the image on instagram, a few people said “it’s nice to see all members in the image” more than once 4tus responded to them and said “it’s not an official image though.” goes to show, beyond Axl Grease, Slice, and FfuD the rest truly are hired pistols.
  12. I’ve said for months I thought June 30th would be first. So I’m anticipating Friday. But wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t happen.
  13. At this point it would be nice if they re-tracked Chinese songs, and rest of what was supposed to be released and dropped a surprise. Shit as fans we deserve a new double album at this point. They don’t owe us shit, but we made them rich over the years and have continued to. I doubt we will ever hear any real from scratch new music from them. It seems to always have been the part that the band struggled with. With all of the stories it’s a miracle illusions got completed.
  14. I was 9 in 91 and have been a GNR fan ever since I heard the November Rain Solos.

  15. notice they said mixes and classic GNR. So I think Axl Grease & Slice were listening to: Spaghetti incident remastered box set with 140 more live songs. 27 versions of KOHD and KOHD 10 hours of gimme some reggae version!
  16. Man to be a fly in some hard drives of former members and producers. Just imagine all of the different sessions aside from just the village. I still think the (12) type stuff is versions of mixes. Then they’d switch producers and if Axl Grease wasn’t showing up I’m sure more have may been written. A lot of people got paid to sit and rental companies stayed in business. I think that’s the one thing that actually pisses me off. They had something done in 2000. It would be nice to know who REALLY prevented this all from happening back in 99/00? Would have been awesome to be 17/18 and have CD come out. Or 2000 intentions or whatever it was supposed to be called lol .
  17. Was reading the other Oslo forum. Made me think. If they aren’t going to do a new album they should scrap 3/4 of set. Just do the greatest hits album and cut their set short. Interchange songs in a group of 12-14 songs. Maybe it would help Axl maintain his voice better. Sounds like a reviewer complained with length of show. Not many bands do that long of sets. I’ll give it to Guns for that one. They’ve always given big shows for the most part.
  18. I call DJ Diet Slice aka Diet Slash. In an aesthetic way he really did fit the band. He was pretty sloppy in Guns at times but they’ve never been a “tight” band musically live very much. DJ to his credit is a great musician and smart businessman. I preferred him in Beautiful Creatures and that first Sixx A.M. was great.
  19. For the life of me I don’t know why they don’t put a cheesy mic or megaphone effect on axl during absurd. It’s on the recording and would make it sound better live.
