I can't speak on that. In the US every leg has had cheap GA tickets. So if outside the US the cheapest tickets were outrageously expensive (which I seriously doubt) then I guess that sucks for you

My favorite is when people on here complain about ticket prices and announce they wont be going to a show because of the prices ... I've gone to every show in my market, including one I flew out of state for, and never once was hampered by prices.

It's not just Robin and Bucket ... The entire sound and production on the ChiDem songs (and the unreleased leaks) are so much better than the ChiDem 2 turds NITL did ...

All of this means absolutely nothing. We already know Atlas Shrugged is going to be one of unreleased songs to come out. Like 100% without a doubt there is no reason to speculate. Don't need a single word from anybody in the band to know this song will be released eventually.

Unreal this has it's own thread, as does Perhaps, as does The General, like this all isn't the same bullshit that gets talked to death and then some in the "new album" thread

Imagine over a decade of Fortus promising a new album is being worked on and is on the way, and no new album or new songs materialize, and now all of a sudden we take his word so seriously ... LMAO

Yeah, my problem is I think the music Buckethead and Finck wrote together, coupled with Axl's voice, is some of the coolest rock music I've ever heard, and want to hear more than just an album's worth ....

I have 0 expectations of any boxset ever coming out for ChiDem that includes anything like demos or unreleased (or previously unreleased) tracks with the original artists.

So I'm a young GnR fan, in my late 20s. When I got into GnR, it was the old band, and their music, that I fell in love with. But in my adult years I've come to enjoy Chinese Democracy so much that it's actually my favorite album of all time. I'm a huge Axl Rose fan. I don't like how Slash sounds on any of the ChiDem material live, except the title track because that's a straight forward rocker. Hardschool was alright but I liked the original arrangement better. Same goes for Perhaps. I'm also jaded that we're only getting a few ChiDem songs that Slash and Duff are reworking instead of the actual follow up album we were supposed to get, with the old band members that wrote the music on the songs.

Yeah but it would have been so much better if those songs were released officially with a properly finished/completed mix with the original artists playing. As for The General, we've never heard that song in its original form, so hearing it for the first time will be with Slash playing, but I still have a feeling I'm not going to enjoy it as much, even though I don't have a direct comparison, because the whole time I'm listening I'm going to be thinking about what it would have sounded like with Finck & Buckethead and knowing (in my mind) how much better it would have sounded. I'm hoping we will one day get that version leaked. Still excited to hear that song though. Moreso for Axl's vocals though, not the guitar parts.

Obviously that would be cool. I'm not anti-new GnR music being released lol I just have very low expectations and for very good reason. But as far as new ChiDem goes, honestly the less the better, because I am not enjoying these Slash versions at all in comparison to the originals.

If Slash is to believed, we can expect to potentially get 1 or 2 more reworked ChiDem songs. If you think along the lines of some others here, then I guess you can still expect even more. I'm sticking to Slash's hard figures and expecting 0-2 more songs.

The album opener is still one of the hardest new rock songs I've heard in a long time

Dizzy said it was a 10 year long process so the songs have some history.

I don't think they were ChiDem rejects. The Village leaks shows us that GnR had plenty of material to work on in the early days of the project.
