  1. I can hear it a bit, it's for sure the best one. There is video out there of Bucket recording his stuff on that album but not Fink. Probably quite a few people have never heard of them before.
  2. 3:14 This specific part of this one always had the most Newgnr vibes for me
  3. Has done score's for movies and games, here is Fink and Buckethead on a track & this one is just Fink
  4. Somewhere a pantless Ronald McDonald is unconscious in an alleyway around the corner. I can relate to not knowing what style to pick for the day but Axl seems to have picked about 5 to ware at the same time.
  5. he will be waiting a while, she died in 2007.
  6. He does look a bit stones ish. But he kind of always did. Not surprised he looks a lot older though as its first pic I think for years
  7. had heart shaped box on earlier very eerie indeed. RIP
  8. Sorry but it wasn't worthy of it's own thread
  9. some morning news show around 2014, i think when the vegas residency was on
  10. It may possibly be a cleaned up version of a version he played on a morning tv show actually
  11. I missed it too, That version on youtube sounds real to me though. Seems to have the intro snipped off
  12. Israel was founded in 1948. Hamas was not right to attack Israel at all, but to blame the entire population which obviously includes children and babies for allowing them to run there country is a bit far fetched. I agree that every country has at some point done horrific things, but how is that relevant? Do you think they should carry on because other countries could be accused of hypocrisy? We can all point to examples of horrific things countries have done, that doesn't excuse what is happening now does it? How do you know they are not? People are capable of supporting multiple causes at the same time People are. There are charities dedicated to combating and supporting those who have suffered with FGM. Even if there were not why would that mean people can't protest a genocide? You are right that higher education is very cost prohibitive in your country They may be but that doesn't mean people aren't going to use there freedom of speech to speak up and protest at perceived injustice Many of us do 'give a shit about' those counties, some of us are from them and have family and friends there stuck in difficult situations through no fault of there own.
  13. 3 solo's, 2 of which leaked. Ballad Of Death, Mi Amore and La Bella Vita (the one that didn't leak) it is however pretty clear he recorded it as he once posted a video of himself playing it to a backing track which sounded production wise the same as the other two I stand corrected looks like it did leak https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jIBf3lmfVg
  14. That is possibly more likely than a brand new album of new material. It's likely there may be a recorded version of Better with slash Duff and Melissa I think. There are a few versions of that song. Back when we found out about the Ashba version and the BBF version I wondered if Axl had used it as a sort of homework track for new people coming in to see what they have to offer. Given that it's the most reworked of the CD songs by the 2016 lineup it wouldn't surprise me if there was a studio version with that new intro somewhere.
  15. It's a weird choice of phrase for what he is talking about. You would normally hear the term in business. For example if you had a company and i was "On the books" it would mean I was employed by you, in the sense that my name and details are in your company's paper work and documents ect. In the context it's used here though I agree with @janrichmond. It's another way of saying what he has already said before. I wouldnt read too much into it.
  16. Beer And A Cigarette “We're talking about doing a Hanoi Rocks tune...” SLASH Guitar World Magazine February 1992. A Hanoi Rocks song recorded for The Spaghetti Incident album, removed so as to deny royalties to Andy McCoy because they felt he was too much of a “Prick” to deserve the royalty money. Andy McCoy has accused the band of plagiarism and that the song Paradise City is made of riffs taken from several Hanoi Rocks songs. He believes the chorus is a slowed down version of a riff from Lost In The City. In 1994 Slash had this to say in Kerrang... “We did a Hanoi Rocks tune but we decided not to put it on the album because we didn't wanna give Andy McCoy ( former Hanoi guitarist ) the money! McCoy's an asshole! The basic track was done but we never did any vocals for it.” ( Slash Kerrang NO.485 March 12, 1994 ) Down On The Street A cover of an Iggy song that was intended for the Spaghetti Incident. Slash had this to say in 1994 “We recorded a basic track on Iggy's Down On The Street. But we didn't finish that either, we stuck with Raw Power it just sounded cooler. Iggy knew we were doing the Stooge's tun. I talk to Iggy all the time anyway, he's a good friend. He was happy that we were doing anything in the first place, so that was cool”( Slash Kerrang NO. 485 March 12 1994 )
  17. Only thing I could see them doing is remastering and upscaling the old UYI shows for blu Ray or streaming. I doubt we ever get a new boxset.
  18. No idea & it's kind of a nothing story really, but it at least indicates that the site isn't just going to be left to rot completely.
  19. The news section of the site has been updated today https://www.officialaxlrose.com/news with this story https://www.forbes.com/sites/hughmcintyre/2024/05/01/one-of-guns-n-roses-biggest-hits-is-surging-36-years-after-its-release/ Seems positive that it is being updated and not completely left like many thought
