dalsh327
This reminds me of the scene in "Great Rock and Roll Swindle" where they're playing those cheesy disco covers of Sex Pistols songs. The only interesting thing they mentioned was Har Mar Superstar doing SCOM. Would be a great opening act for GNR.

nambis
Mark Mallman is great, i've got an older album of his. he's pretty common on the minneapolis/st. paul local scene, but i haven't heard much from him since I moved from there (I don't follow him, obviously). CoBrA2168
I couldn't even tell that was WTTJ until he started singing.
phaeryen
drums are pretty tame for electro-houseish style 2010. vox has reverb like its the eighties allover again. I can understand people getting pretty riled up about this... The autotune bridge just makes this so funny.

I can't wait to here the rest of them. I think it's cool that somebody has finally done something like this for AFD.

mcalldp
I actually like the IDEA of a band doing this but this sound is not what I would want to hear (Too pop). If it was harder with more Edge like Orgy's 'Blue Monday' song, that would be tight. Or even Skinny Puppy's 'Greater Wrong of the Right' sound. I also don't like that they've done the entire album, even stealing the artwork concepts, all without permission. SunnyDRE
Not a knock, but back whenever, I thought CD was going to sound something similiar to this. Especially when I read Moby was working Axl.On topic: I like it. I listened to it three or four times. I grows on you.

Conor
Welcome To The Jungle: I quite liked it. Auto-tune bridge was great. I loved the end too. Paradise City: Sucked. Sounds horrible, big mess. My Michelle: Really liked this one. Very cool and different. Best so far. Edited November 4, 2010 by Conor

luciusfunk
"My Michelle" is the best so far.I found them on MySpace and they have a decent cover of Sonic Youth's "Teenage Riot" up.
Black Sabbath
The Paradise City one wasn't that great. Again, musically it was pretty cool, but it would be better without the vocals. As for My Michelle, the vocals aren't too bad and the overall track is pretty good. Quix
Its not AS bad as you guys have said. Still terrible. Is it legal for AFD to be recorded like this? Its perfectly legal if they pay a certain amount of money per track sold. Not sure about the cover art, though.
