I live nearby and already have my tix for the show. My recommendation for a pre-show party would be to head over to the Mohegan Sun Casino (about 5-10 minutes from arena). There are many bars and places to eat at the casino, as well as the slots and table games. The casino is open 24/7 with massive parking and it won't matter when the show ends, they will still be open. Here is a neat little fact about the Casino/Racetrack as well. Guns n Roses played what I beleive was their only show in the immediate area as the opening act for Aerosmith touring for AFD with the stage setup in the center of the racetrack.
