On sale a full four weeks before the regular UK album release, Classic Rock's Slash Fan Pack includes the top-hatted guitar hero's brilliant new album in full – his second as a solo artist – plus a 132-page magazine dedicated to every aspect of how this unique album was written and recorded.

Fans who buy the Slash Fan Pack will not only be able to hear the album weeks ahead of its release into record stores, they will get the exclusive low down on all the tracks, all the band members, including Myles Kennedy, the Alter Bridge vocalist who has co-authored all the tracks with Slash, as well as the background on Slash's plans for the future.

The Fan Pack magazine is 100% Slash-approved and contains major exclusive new interviews with Slash, Myles and every member of the band, plus producer Eric Valentine and album sleeve designer, Frank Maddox.

This album is Slash's second as a solo artist - his first, simply titled Slash – was released in 2010 - and the second time the legendary former Guns N' Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist has released an album with Classic Rock in Fan Pack form.

The magazine is also packed with a wealth of rare shots of Slash and his band in action and also includes an official die-cast metal Slash pin badge and a giant poster. A must for all Slash fans.

Order Classic Rock's Slash II Fan Pack directly from MyFavouriteMagazines.co.uk and you will also receive an EXCLUSIVE official Slash metal keyring - unavailable in the shops or anywhere else!

I saw this elsewhere.

He is really going all out for this release. The mativision full length album shoot, the fan pack deal, I am sure there will be the Abby road shows for sale again when they tour.

It is funny that Slash is the one we always think of as being stuck in his ways and old school, but he is really plugged in to technological/social media advancements that come along with releasing music now a days.

It doesn't hurt he is self funding this release again (using similar distribution deals as last time) so he has a ton of flexibility to be able to pick and choose what he would like to do, but he could just as easily do the easy thing and just release the album, tour and call it a day.

Quite frankly of the original line-up he is the last one I would have thought would turn into Mr. technology/entrepreneur as far as his approach to the band and releasing music as he aged.
