Powerage5
Best thing about YOLT is the theme song. Also fuck MGM? (I was absent when this started but just want to fit in.)Fuck MGM because they're doing everything in their power to push Bond off their old every other year schedule, and seemingly into an every 4 years schedule. Fuck MGM up the ass with a chocolate enema.
Tater Totts
Bond 24 was today announced for an October 2015 release with Sam Mendes returning to direct.

Tater Totts
To be honest I would rather they take their time and produce a good film instead of rushing it and ending up with something mediocre.
Georgy Zhukov
Maybe Daniel Craig will do one more film afterwards.
Tater Totts
Yeah I thought he had signed on for two more after Skyfall.
Crazyman
Fuck MGM for making us wait another year...but at least they have the right people working on it.P.S - Fuck MGM
James Bond
Meh, 3 years if better than 4Still, fuck MGM though.Agreed. I suppose I can live with the decision. Having Mendes back will make the extra year tolerable. Not the worst gap in the history of the series.Still, you think they could have told us sooner. It's about time. Pricks. Fuck MGM! Georgy Zhukov
And it is actually less than three years now. But fuck MGM for taking their time to tell us.

Chris1989
I love this thread being on front page. So, iirc Devil May Care was a book written by an Author using the official Bond Licence... If that is correct, what more do we know about the film, is it a good base for a storyline?
Chris1989
Loved the responses to my previous post.Just got the full Bond boxset on BluRay for my birthday, start watching this week. Awesome times ahead.

None of the continuation novels have been particularly earth shattering so it's just as good they keep pursuing original ideas. There were rumors before Skyfall that the producers were considering doing the Jeffrey Deaver novel Carte Blanche but Barbara debunked that almost right away. Georgy Zhukov
I totally missed out on Octopussy's 30th. Fuck.
James Bond
Me too. I haven't been paying too much attention to Bond lately actually. I think last year wore me out. By 2015 I'm sure I'll be bitching that I can't wait any longer for the new film though.
Powerage5
Before I left for Europe I did another Bondathon with a friend who'd never watched them all in order. He had many of the same comments we all did after we did our respective Bondathons - Brosnan could've ( should've) been a much better bond than he was allowed to be, Goldeneye is a hell of a film though horribly dated (He'd never watched any Brosnan film twice even!), Dalton kicks ass, Moore is painful to watch, and Skyfall just barely tops Casino Royale for best flick. Something he agreed on with me but you guys don't - what's so special about TSWLM? I just think its SO boring.
Guest NGOG
Skyfall just barely tops Casino Royale for best flick. I'm going Casino Royale in any contest between the two.

But they're both amazing films.About TSWLM - I think I may have overrated it as well. Granted, I was hammered when I tried watching it (at like 3 in the morning), but I found the first half somewhat boring.Maybe I should try watching it somewhat sober before I re-rate it Edited July 29, 2013 by Crazyman

When we rematched it a few weeks ago, it was on his 65" Smart TV. Looked fucking dreadful, one of the worst of the Bond 50 set. Still a great flick though, definitely in my top 10. The Linguini Occurrence
Holy shit I had to work to find this thread, can't believe it hasn't been used since July. Talk about hitting the jackpot in "Storage Wars" ... this story absolutely blows my mind.During a blind auction a couple won the contents of an abandoned storage locker in Long Island, NY with just a $100 bid.Guess what they found inside?Guess how much they sold it for?$920,
