Guest NGOG
Never released a metal song. Contrary to popular opinion, Shacklers Revenge is definitely not metal. It's all a variant of hard rock.
Guest NGOG
I would agree Coma is probably closest to the idea of metal, it's like a combination of One and Enter Sandman with a hint of grunge. That said, it still manages to stay under the umbrella of hard rock in my opinion. TombRaider
Wouldn't that be an example of hair metal or glam? Just curious.
Black Roses
Wouldn't that be an example of hair metal or glam? Just curious. AFD sounds grittier (and 10x times better) than glam shit. Edited April 25, 2013 by Black Roses

TombRaider
This contributes nothing to the point being discussed, but I always preferred the Lies version of You're crazy .
Guest NGOG
Shackers I would say elements of nu-metal but it's combined with a lot of other things going on. More gritty electronica.

Bansidhe
Sorry was doom metal according to Bach. That count?Sorry to me has a vibe of Tony Iommi jamming with Pink Floyd.Has that etheral, mellow thing going on in the verses but then a big doomy riff in the chorus.Wouldn't say it's doom metal at all though. T.wa.T
Guns don't have any songs that sound like heavy metal. Hard rock/ punk, with a bit of southern blues, is how I describe them.
Chris 55
CLOSEST I'd say, and very brief would be "Double Talkin' Jive". It's a metalish riff and they used to pair it with a little bit of Metallica when it was played live. Check out the Tokyo 91 performance.
Johnny Drama
Miser - like I said I'd say its got a strong speed metal element, but its not thrash.
Towelie
So going by the songs listed in this thread, a good 75% of their catalogue is metal.
