Why are the UK crowds the rowdiest and ballsiest at concerts? Why are they so aggressive and throw things?

For the same reason the South American fans are so great to nu guns at concerts. It's the proportion of good rock bands the places get to see. South America doesn't get that many so they put up with Axl and his employees, the UK has a crazy amount of good rock bands so they don't need that shit.

interesting point

and lol at brainsaber who thinks Ireland is part of the UK

An American will bend down and spread his arse cheeks and take Axl's tiny ginger penis. A British fan will say, ''fuck this. You are 3 hours late. You do not have Slash. Your band are cack and you cannot sing any longer.'' A British crowd have cynicism and a sense of humour. We do not like to be buttfucked on a yearly basis.

Because the British are frankly jealous they're not American. They're stereotyped as gay and use words like "Wankers"

Strange breed of people indeed!

I was hoping there'd be a full on quote about the venue manager threatening to knock him out. But  @ old Axl throwing a punch and security not even having to get involved.

I'm surprised Beta didn't throw a punch for him!

In a recent interview, Bumblefoot openly spoke about how the fans in the UK are the most disrespectful at concerts. Why do you think this is?

¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

Edit:

I changed the title, which originally was:

"Why do you think the UK fans are the most disrespectful at concerts?"

I have left the opening post as it was for reference. Please know that I wasn't intentionally trying to twist or spin what Bumblefoot said. When I read the interview, I felt like Bumblefoot was speaking in euphemisms somewhat, and as such I derived from his descriptions the word "disrespectful."

Furthermore, later in the thread I point out the Dublin 2010 show, where multiple things were thrown at Axl and the band (including possibly glass bottles full of urine). I admit that at the time I posted this thread, I was unaware that southern Ireland is not a part of the UK. I apologize for my ignorance and whoever I may have offended. Hopefully, you can understand what I was getting at nonetheless.

because according to Roger Waters "quiet desperation is the English way" you give them a good football match or a fucking rock concert and they lose all inhibition plus english beer is like lifes blood to Britain. Mix those two any you have a riot in the making.

Socialist countries believe they deserve something...like they are owed a band to come on stage on time and to conform to what they expect. That is the difference...the rest of the world...u get what u paid for....and freedom is real high priced....haha...

UK crowds are 'proper' crowds, proper hardcore music fans who recognise bullshit. This is why Niven brought Guns into London to play the Marquee in 1987. He said to GN'R, this crowd are going to gob spit at you, call you a bunch of 'yankee homos', throw cups of piss at you. The idea was, if GN'R managed to, win them over, well then, there is simply no task to heavy for this band. And they eventually did win them over as the crowd recognised a genuine bunch of punks. Now, British crowds see through the bullshit that is, new gnr. They know a con when they see one.

Roughest crowd I've ever been in -- Dublin. The feckin fighting Irish are fooking mental man.

/thread.

Saw Maiden at the Point in 2006.

The Irish seemed pretty mellow apart from a guy who wandered up to another guy in front of us, lamped him and then swagged off again.

Couldn't help but laugh like fuck at it.

They dont appreciate a con when they see one. GNR is like a Duchamps urinal, is it a toilet or picture of toilet. CD would win the Turner prize but the KLF would have burned 14 million dollars of Best buys money on live tv. Edited by wasted

Didn't they try to auction the ashes? Looking back, that was a crazy time.

Extreme Noise Terror covered KLF's "3 a.m. Eternal" and it got banned.

I wonder if Six Feet Under will ever cover CD.
