seagullview
What a brilliant performance of This I love from the Netherlands in 2010. You can tell Axl is really proud of this song with the bow and everything after his vocal intro. Had this been released in the original GNR era it would have been a big hit Im sure. Dont know why people dont like this song

magisme
Because it sounds like a shitty nursery rhyme.I will admit that I like hearing this song live, primarily because it's one of the few songs Axl actually puts some effort into.
Nosaj Thing
People don't like the song because the lyrics are awful. I do enjoy This I Love 'cause is basically Axl and the piano. In 2010 he killed that song, so much power!
Black Sabbath
Next to Better, I've noticed that this is the song that surprisingly gets the most crowd reaction in terms of Chinese Democracy songs.

seagullview
Good or bad lyrics that is a top class vocal performance!
Estranged Reality
His vocals always sound pretty fierce on this track when he's got the rasp going on. People enjoy mocking it because of the questionable lyrics - fair enough - and the overwrought production but I think it translates well live. WhazUp
Man that is damn good! He really killed it there, makes the song that much more powerful
Axl_morris
This is still a powerful song during Axl's weaker shows.
username
Absolutely awful song. And I was at that show by the way.
Smoking Baby
I do like Robin's solo very much. It's hard to believe Axl wrote those awful lyrics though. But yeah, he puts an effort when singing it, myabe that's why the audience seems to enjoy it.
Axlspants
Love the song, love the lyrics, best bit is 'I've searched the universe and found myself with your eyes' - beautiful lyric. The solo is epic, so powerful. One of my favorite GnR songs of any era.

One of my favorite GnR songs of any era.One of the highlights on ChiDem for me, Robins solo blows me away every time, finding that notes the way he does is going to be sadly missed on future GNR releases if his parts are re-recorded
magisme
Robin's solo is really good. Guitar solos are by far the best parts of the album. Edited January 29, 2014 by magisme

DR DOOM
It's up there with Pantera's Cemetary Gates ("and when she died, I should have cried") and Slash/Ozzy's Crucify The Dead in the lyrical brilliance stakes
trqster
It's a great song and imo the ONLY potential hit on CD. On youtube for instance it's a galaxy apart in terms of popularity and ratings from other CD songs…just saying...This is the best TIL live performance - Axl Rose at his best. BangoSkank
I'm a pretty mindless Axl supporter, but man, I cannot stand this fucking song. How no one chimed in and said, "Hey, these kind of sound like they're from a 16 year old girl's diary," is beyond me.

DR DOOM
November Rain's lyrics aren't as cringemaking as This I Love's though.
