Rovim
Thanks for posting. (I do want you to scan that article) Good read. Prostitute Coma: do you even punk. One of the best punk bands ever. They're anything but boring imo. Had it all, Paul is a great songwriter and I still enjoy listening to all of their albums. The Replacements are one of those bands that you can't criticize because they are totally cool, influential and underrated and blah blah blah... Honestly? If they were that great maybe they would get more recognition.

It's useful cause then I have a better chance of finding out about it, but other then that? don't care. Recognize. Nosaj Thing
Yeah, uninteresting, boring band. I tried to listen to that performance they did not long ago and had to pause the video after 50 seconds. Just awfully boring.I never imagined they were so popular.
Facekicker
If you don't know their music just read the text of the first page of the article above. It tells you all you need to know about them. They are not great, not interesting and come across as a bunch of knobs. "The anxiety of picking out clothes."Spare me.
maynard
Todd Kerns, for example, is 100 times better as a bass player, singer and occasional front man than Tommy. The Replacements are actually waaaay overrated.

appetite4illusions
I got into the Replacements, much, much later than I should have. I think I actively avoided listening to them because their reputation as the pioneers of Alt rock never matched the material I heard.I'm so glad I finally caved. Their music really speaks to you if you've got your ears open.
jamesrandolph
I don't know any replacements songs, so I decided to listen to see if they were actually good or bad...... since the majority of comments here are saying they aren't goodthis is the first vid I saw... Anyway, this is really good, and the video is cool, simple speaker thing focusing on the music, at a time when probably everyone else was doing something different....regardless the song is good and the video is good to go with it... don't get why everyone is disliking them so much... what's with you guys? RandallFlagg
The Greatest Band That Never Was sounds like new GNR though add except for one album sort of released at a congruent time regarding the band but half the songs were already played for several tours and a few more were added then replaced by classic cuts over the next five years. It's a weird concept of whether new GNR has ever been a proper band tbh, all I know is they could have been great and there's still a little hope for another record or two to salvage all the time frittering away. This is the hate forum, if you hate or dislike something you should probably make at least 15 hate posts on the same thread. This by no means is a "hate forum" (whatever that is). People are just free to give their opinions about GNR, or music in general, without being censored. I'm not surprised GUNNER PT liked your post since he's another sensitive one who loves to throw the word "hate" around a lot... You guys are way too sensitive and sound like kids.
