March 20, 1993 - Iowa City, IA

Notes: A very rowdy crowd - before the opening act Brian May came on stage, the crowd threw all the chairs off to the side to make it general admission! This led to some huge mosh pits, especially during 'Double Talkin' Jive.' During 'So Fine,' Axl changes one of the lines to “How could I be so high?”, and then later to “How could it be I'm so high?” 'Patience' is started after 'You're Crazy' but the bands stops it and breaks into 'Used To Love Her.' Before 'Welcome To The Jungle,' Slash plays a bit of the theme to the 'Addams Family.' The show is stopped early because Axl gets hit with something, so 'Welcome To The Jungle' is the last song.

March 31, 1988 - The Late Show, Los Angeles, CA

Notes: GN'R's first late night TV show performance.

Setlist: You're Crazy, Used To Love Her.

Quote from Steven Adler:

On March 31, 1988, we did another acoustic performance, with me playing drums, on a show that was called Fox Late Night, a variety show. It featured a black host, so 'One In A Million' was out of the lineup. Instead we did a medtempo version of 'You're Crazy' and also 'Used To Love Her'. [...] The reason why I remember that performance so well is because we played 'Crazy' the way it was always meant to be played: slower, sleazy, more bluesy, with much more feeling, and not the frantic sped-up version on Appetite. Even though Axl had to censor himself for TV and leave out all the "fuckin's," he did a masterful job, and it's definitely my favourite rendition of 'Crazy.'[Steven's autobiography, "My Appetite for Destruction", 2012, p. 160]

REPOST

April 4, 1993 - Reno, NV

Notes: At the start of 'Mr. Brownstone,' Axl asks Duff how he is doing after being hit with a bottle the night before in Sacramento. Later Axl tells the audience that they stopped the show the night before and they would do the same tonight if anything else is thrown onstage. As GN'R were coming on stage for their encore, someone in the audience lights up fireworks, which pisses off the band and makes them end the show. Thus, no encore.

Notes: A video of this show was stolen from GN'R's video crew. Axl tells the crowd they can do whatever the fuck they want with their lives before 'Live And Let Die.' During the show, Axl sings the line "Oklahoma where the wind goes sweeping down the plain," which is the title song to the play "Oklahoma."

Notes: The crowd was not very receptive to Blind Melon, prompting Shannon Hoon to point to the front row and say “If you people don’t shut up, we will be here for 45 more fucking minutes!” GN’R took stage at about 10:30 p.m. and played until about 1 a.m. At some point during GN’R’s set, Axl picks up a condom and says "I found a condom." There is some debate whether or not 'Coma' was played at this show; it most likely was.

REPOST

April 10, 1992 - Rosemont, IL

Notes: This show was canceled as were the next 2 in Michigan due to Axl finding out that if he stayed in the country he would be arrested on charges from the riot in St. Louis on 7.2.91. So he left the U.S.

Notes: This setlist is possibly inaccurate in terms of order. The crowd was not very receptive to Blind Melon, prompting Shannon Hoon to point to the front row and say “If you people don’t shut up, we will be here for 45 more fucking minutes!” GN’R took stage at about 10:30 p.m. and played until about 1 a.m. At some point during GN’R’s set, Axl picks up a condom and says "I found a condom." There is some debate whether or not 'Coma' was played at this show; it most likely was.

Setlist: It's So Easy, Mr. Brownstone, Live And Let Die, Attitude, The Garden, Welcome To The Jungle, Coma, Yesterdays, Double Talkin' Jive, You Ain't The First, You're Crazy, Used To Love Her, Knockin' On Heaven's Door, Patience, Piano Solo, November Rain, Drum Solo, You Could Be Mine, Guitar Solo, Sweet Child O' Mine, Paradise City
