highvoltage
Bumblefoot is the most versatile person in this old fashioned band.Just be careful Queef - I understand all the points you're making, but you'll be severely outnumbered if you start making comments like that. I'm more than willing to give Bumblefoot a chance - he doesn't seem like a bad guitarist at all, and you could easily attribute his supposedly lacklustre performance to a few nerves. It's not easy to come into a band like Guns N' Roses, learn the material in such a short period and then jump up and perform in front of 1000's of hardcore fans.Give him a chance. FORDIE
Your first cncert is it bitch? If people weren`t jumping and singing their asses off, Axl wouldn`t be long telling them hom much they suck! If they sat there in silence for more than 2 or 3 songs, Axl would be outta there!!It`s up to the audience to create an atmosphere of chaos, every rock band thrives on that shit!! chrissen
Go to the opera, rock concerts are clearly not for you. What the fuck did you expect? Go buy concert DVDs, then you can watch the action without those annoying fans who dare disturb you watching a rock concert...

New Rose
Hahahahhaahhaha! You're a fucking RETARD dude! Like chrissen said, I mean what the fuck did you really expect? Did you expect everyone to be seated and just nod their heads and politely applause after every song? You're such a fucking moron I dont know why am I even replying to this.Your whole review was beyond ridiculous."Maybe if this guy wasn't a judgemental moron, for limiting his ideal favorite guitarists as Slash, before using an accurate comparison of other guitarists. But I assume by this inane quote he said, He most likely doesn't know, John Petrucci, Joe Satriana, Steve Vai. If he did, he would have a slightly more intelligible opinion on this."Was Petrucci, Satriana or Vai in GN'R? No, no they werent you idiot. Thats why, he said Slash. Are you 13? Seems like you are.Do everyone a favor, please never write a review ever again. It would save precious keyboards and bandwith.

Axl-rocks
complain much I think you need to complain some more, it wasn't enoughAlso you complained about people cheering. of course people are going to be cheering, it's a Guns n Roses concert. Something that happens every blue moon. Also you should consider yourself lucky you were there, some of us were not so fortunate to experience it and all you did was complain.Selfish
warchild
Guys, I wanted last night to kick ass, but come on, the band really is so lame now and they looked horrible up there on stage. ...Dude, you clearly weren't at the same show as everybody else. I try to look objectively at shows when I post reviews - and recognize the good with the bad, so forum members get a real feel for the show. But honestly, I didn't see any of the negative points you made. The band's image, chemistry and sound were awesome - which was not the case in 2002. I give credit where credit is due. Robin totally kicked ass. His new image (reminded me of Zak a bit), energy, charisma and ability to play the f*ck out of songs was great. I tip my hat off to him. So I don't understand your comments about him at all. The only part where I partially agree with you were your points about Bumblefoot (which I mentioned in my review in dark's thread. http://www.mygnrforum.com/index.php?s=&sho...post&p=1282523). But, as somebody else mentioned, Bumblefoot has only been with the band about two weeks and is probably a little shell-shocked right now and will settle down over time and choose better guitar solos. I can only assume your negative thread is sour grapes on your part because Axl didn't fulfull your life-long dream and "call you out" during a rant. Personally, I hope he never does because I think it's a lame way for you to draw attention to yourself.RAISE HELL MADISON..............The show was awesomely fanfuckingtastic and the electricity was flowing!!!All I can say is I fucking enjoyed it, and for lack of different descriptives, that haven't already been usedI'm submitting t6he following........‘All movement is accomplished in six stages, and the seventh brings return’ The I-Ching, Book of Changes ‘So beautiful and strange and new! Since it was to end all too soon, I almost wish I had never heard it. Nothing seems worthwhile but just to hear that sound once more and go on listening to forever. No! There it is again!’ he cried, alert once more. Entranced, he was silent for a long space, spellbound.’ The Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame ‘SCREAM THY LAST SCREAM, MR..... a) Sonic painter B) Auto Soundsmith c) Expressionable Non cynic d) True Believer E) Emotional innocent WHO KNEW THE IMPORTANCE OF TANTRUM...’ WARCHILD

There is nothing derogatory about this term, sorry if I offended someone I really like GnR and was one of the biggest fans back in 1992-93 (I was 13-14 then). I had posters everywhere, dressed like slash, tried to play like him... my first guitar was even full of GnR stickers but then, after "the spaghetti incident" and the split, I started listening to other styles of music, to more modern branches of rock and metal (hence the term "old-fashioned")...For me "GnR" died with the departure of Slash and Duff but I really hope this new tour makes me change my mind and that I become a GnR fan again!!! hollyw00d81
You fucking thief!!!!!!!!!!! you totally stole that from, I don't even think you went to the fucking show!! you even copied the seconds I pointed out this was my original post, it was even a thread at HTGTH Named "All Thank Finck"THIEF!!!!!!!! Kannon.First of all, you're a fucking idiot for claiming I wasn't at the show and that I stole it from you when I didn't read your post to begin with.Second, you're not a real fan as you can't even tell which band member is which, Tommy Stinson is the bass player for Guns N' roses. He was the one almost burned. But congrats on making yourself look like a fool.I was there, I've been a GNR fan since the 80's, and I want to thank you for proving my point about certain GNR "fans" that I brought up in my original post.Hey, were you the one yelling "THERE'S IZZY!!!" all night? I bet it was.
hollyw00d81
If anyone has any questions about last night, ask me. I was right next to the stageWho sang what parts in My Michelle?Well they basically switched off, but I can't remember who sang what the whole time, it was almost an impromptu performance so it wasn't planned that well. Axl started it off, with the first part "Your daddy works in porno now that mommys not around..." then Baz came in with "She used to love her heroin, but now she's under ground..." Then they both sang "Whoa whoa whoa, you just can't tell" etc. My memory isn't perfect, so I wouldn't be able to remember the whole thing, but that's basically how it goes.We all thought they were going to sing "You're Crazy" because Vaz said it a couple of times before the song, but I'm glad they didn't. Queef
just listened to "Better"! Great songs!!! and great guitar work throughout!!!I can understand now some people's fear that Bumblefoot is not up to the task... be reassured! he can play all of this and even more. I took lessons with him and it was beyond human. For example, this is the solo he plays on a song I recorded with a friend for Xmas. It's a fucked up version of the French Santa Claus theme and he kindly accepted to play a solo for us.His solo is the first one. The 2nd is me and the 3rd is a friend of mine.http://www.guitars-attitude.com/media/audi..._nohell_bbf.mp3and a few other crazy solos he did for other people:http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot...y_Of_Death).mp3 http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._Game_Over).mp3http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot...tal-Kartoon.mp3http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._Spoken_To).mp3http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Richard_Da...less_guitar.mp3http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._Outro_Jam).mp3and one of his own solos:http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Ron%20Thal...the%20Blues.mp3+ mp3 samplers of his albums:Normal: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._CD_sampler.mp3Forgotten Anthology: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot...tar_sampler.mp3911: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._CD_sampler.mp3Hands: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot..._CD_sampler.mp3 and the tributes and "loundge tributes" he did:Eminem: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/BfoOt_-_Em...s_Goldstein.mp3Black Sabbath: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/BfoOt_-_Oz...s_Lovecraft.mp3Outkast: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/BfoOt_-_Th..._CD_sampler.mp3Jimi Hendrix: http://www.bumblefoot.com/audio/Bumblefoot...drix_cover).mp3
