Iceman24
So, I was reading in a Swiss newspaper about the Justin Timberlake concert in Zurich, and they said, that he definitely was the King Of Pop. And I'm often reading Justin Timberlake is the new King Of Pop. Do you agree with that? Or is still Jacko the King?I for myself can't see how someone can think, Justin would be the King, because his music, his style and his performance comes never close to MJ's. I think he will forever be the King Of Pop.I mean, his songs are so many levels higher, like "Who is it?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEpbuoOE29k . Really amazing track. Zint
I can't believe I'm participating in this conversation...but,Justin Timberlake's entire shtick is based on everything Michael Jackson pioneered.Timberlake is a cheap imitation of the real deal. Opax
I only votd for JT because he seems like a totally cool down to earth sort of bloke, MJ is a twisted shadow of his former legend.
arnold layne
I voted Michael Jackson. Timberlake can go kill himeself.
Zeppelin
Michael Jackson by fucking far. It is not even a contest.Regardless of what MJ does or looks like today, you can't take away his killer music, and his pop owned every other artist. And it still does. EccoTides
Timberlake isn't fit to be the carousel polisher in Neverland Ranch.Michael Jackson is still the King - As someone above put it, no one can take his musical legacy away from him. luvaxl4ever
Michael Jackson but Prince is better than both of them IMOAbsolutely agree; Prince is far more talented. But for the sake of the argument, MJ will always be the King of Pop. JT just does a good imitation.

axlslash
Timberlake clearly owes a great debt to Michael, but in a lot of ways, the torch has been passed. MJ doesn't tour anymore, hasn't released a good album in ages, and is definitely not improving. I did not like JT's first record, but the second one is (please don't lynch me) damn good. JT is growing musically, tours, and isn't bankrupt. I'm afraid that, though he owes his kingdom to MJ, JT has taken over.
