So, I was reading in a Swiss newspaper about the Justin Timberlake concert in Zurich, and they said, that he definitely was the King Of Pop. And I'm often reading Justin Timberlake is the new King Of Pop. Do you agree with that? Or is still Jacko the King?

I for myself can't see how someone can think, Justin would be the King, because his music, his style and his performance comes never close to MJ's. I think he will forever be the King Of Pop.

I mean, his songs are so many levels higher, like "Who is it?" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fEpbuoOE29k . Really amazing track. B)

I can't believe I'm participating in this conversation...but,

Justin Timberlake's entire shtick is based on everything Michael Jackson pioneered.

Timberlake is a cheap imitation of the real deal.

Michael Jackson will always be the king of pop he's the original the rest are just copies, i cant deny that Justin is great dancer and he's very charismatic but meh Mike is brilliant in every way, his legacy in the pop field will always be present.

No one can compare to him, it makes no sense. rock1

My thoughts exactly. Michael Jackson is easliy one of the greatest performers of all time.

Timberlake clearly owes a great debt to Michael, but in a lot of ways, the torch has been passed. MJ doesn't tour anymore, hasn't released a good album in ages, and is definitely not improving. I did not like JT's first record, but the second one is (please don't lynch me) damn good. JT is growing musically, tours, and isn't bankrupt. I'm afraid that, though he owes his kingdom to MJ, JT has taken over.
