RedHook
I was looking at the 2015 Rapid Fire CD that featured Axl on vocals the other day and I noticed the back cover is almost the exact same design as the Sound City vinyl from the Locked N Loaded box set. It's common knowledge that the GNR camp stopped production of the Rapid Fire CD after the 1st 200 copys, so Axl and company must have seen the thing. RedHook
I know what the Scotch Audio Tape is,, and that is not the point I am making. I just think they could have been a little more original with the cover.
31illusions
Didn't know there was any physical copies of Rapidfire demos. I thought the guy said people only wanted digital.

I thought the guy said people only wanted digital. A seller on EBay recently listed a copy with the back story as follows. In 2015 a Rapid Fire website sold 200 copys of the CD Rapid Fire - Ready to Rumble. The 1st 100 copies say Collectors Edition First 100 on the cover. After that 100 more were sold minus the First 100 text. Around this time Rapid Fire guitarist Kevin Swartz received a cease and desist order from the GNR camp and no more copies were printed. In 2016 Kevin Swartz passed away at age 51. I looked around on Discogs and it seems to confirm this information. https://www.discogs.com/artist/4103352-Rapidfire-2 I remember the Rapid Fire web page, but I missed out on the day or two when the CDs were sold. The demos are easily available on YouTube Edited August 7, 2018 by RedHook ED It

Ah, it is just whoever made the text on the picture wrote "sunshine of your love" instead of "shadow of your love" and "country life" instead of "reckless life". You can see the correct song titles on the actual tape cover.

Bitchisback
Pure coincidence. I'm sure whoever was doing the artwork for the box set never saw the rapid fire cd. Even if they saw the cover very little chance they saw the back of it.
