I do believe we’ll get The General and Perhaps released by the end of 2024. There’s too much smoke and this follows the same pattern as Absurd and HS. Hopefully, they put them on a physical release like the HS vinyl. After that, who knows? But The General was always my most wanted song

Of all the people in GNR lore, I think Matt is one that needed to get over himself the most. Hopefully, he’s accepted and moved on, now. All the OG5 have the right to bitch and say whatever, but he lucked out due to circumstance in an already huge band. He isn’t an equal and never was Even for the reunion, that should have been Adler’s spot, not his (unless Axl and the rest were on board with him) Quitting ended up being a good move for him, he got to strike gold again due to original members of GNR with VR I say all this still appreciating and liking Matt, I just don’t blame Axl for not wanting him back in 2016. Too much unnecessary baggage

Either works just fine. Some musicians play their music more for note and there is nothing wrong with that. Takes a lot of practice and precision Some improv more and that’s okay too

Insanity on here Slash sounds great to me. I play guitar and still enjoy his playing a lot. He sometimes is underwhelming on some CD songs like Sorry and Catcher, but those are reunion footnotes I don’t think the 2009-2014 lineup comes remotely close to having Slash back. We had freaking Ashba, then. Far and away the worst member of the band, ever. I saw that lineup 3 times and loved those shows, but Slash enhances the band immensely and belongs in the band A lot of the fast playing is exciting live, imo
