Of the 20,000+ people at a show, how many do people here think are hoping to hear “new” songs or deep cuts? I’d say maybe 1,000-2,000? If that People want to go to hear Sweet Child and Jungle and to party with their friends. It’s the same for (almost) any arena band The band knows that. They are too old to put out meaningful new music and they don’t care. For bands I’m not a diehard forum- warrior for, I would want the greatest hits, too. Poor sales mean they are playing venues that are too big. The reunion surprise wore off and they’ve toured nonstop. They are an arena band, not a stadium band

Anyways, Slash I think five times solo Duff once with Walking Papers and once at his book thing before the Hall of Fame (Matt and Gilby were there too) Slash, Duff, Steven, Gilby, Matt at The Hall of Fame performance Axl with ACDC Buckethead once Bumblefoot twice solo, one with Art of Anarchy and one time with Sons of Apollo Fortus and Dizzy with Dead Daisies Steven solo once DJ at a meet and greet thing once Met Axl, Slash, Duff, Steven, Bumblefoot, DJ, Richard, and Dizzy

Hi guys, accidently posted in MyWorld but felt like this should be in Nice Boys. Sorry, mods. Anyways, my band put out our debut full studio album this past weekend. We had a really good show and I am very happy with how the record turned out. We started recording it 3 years ago and would chip away at it here and there. Took a lot of work. We are pretty much all amateurs that do this for fun. I play most of the lead guitar and I sing on Hash and Lost in Space. Anyways, I hope some more people give it a whirl. I'd call it garage rock/punk or something-

With the PS5 and Xbox 4 coming out now, let's reflect on the last generation and how it has, in my opinion, kind of sucked. Obviously, there have been some stellar games this generation, but does anyone else think this generation was mainly a bust? I'm an Xbox One owner, and it has been a pretty over priced netflix box aside from the occasional adventure game and few rounds of Halo. Wtf happened? Grand Theft Auto- 2 games last gen, 0 this gen Mass Effect- 3 games last gen, 1 this gen (which was a poor release) Halo- 3.5 (ODST gets a half point) games last gen, 1 this gen (another poor release) Elder Scrolls- 2 games last gen, 0 this gen Fallout- 2 games last gen, 1 this gen Gears of War- 4 games last gen, 2 this gen Then you have regular release franchises like Assassins Creed that had an infamous buggy release this gen (I think the one in France) and Battlefield, with 4 launching as a buggy mess and 5 as very mediocre (I did love 1, though). Many "new" IPs meant to showcase this gen ended up being disappointing at best like Watch Dogs, Titanfall (great gameplay, but the first game had no content and the visuals are very sub par), Destiny, Anthem, Avengers, The Division etc. Compared to third party IP's born on the 360 and PS3 that is a pretty pitiful list. Microsoft didn't even really try to do anything in terms of new exclusives. Did anyone play Quantom Break? It seems Sony escaped this trend and released some killer PS4 content, including new IPs, but that doesn't explain all the third party failure on top of Microsoft's failures. Was it the free to play stuff? Or the games as a service models? Its clear that developers could still make something special as seen with the Witcher 3, Red Dead 2, and a very large amount of PS4 exclusive content, so it was obviously not a matter of needing more resources for the higher demanding platforms.

They announced the cast and principal photography start today! Mark is confirmed as is Billy Dee Williams. Im stoked about that. Having Luke back was a must for me. I just hope he isnt a ghost in a scene or two... Also, its great they found a way to use Carrie Fisher but I have no idea how Force Awakens footage will work. Could be a wreck but I'll remain optimistic. I love all Star Wars. I am a TLJ fan, so I'm fired up. Yeah, it was messy and flawed, but the high points made it a great SW movie for me. Still, In glad JJ is back to finish what he started. I cant believe we are already on IX.
