Im trying to make sense of a top 10 of sorts. But it's impossible. Beggars Banquet, Let It Bleed, Sticky Fingers, Exile On Main St. and Some Girls are still (in no particular order) my top 5. The other half of my top 10 definitely has Hackney Diamonds in it. As well as Aftermath (UK), Out Of Our Heads (UK) and Goats Head Soup. But I can;'t decide in what order because they're so different. And I still have no idea what my #10 would be. Probably either Tatoo You, Steel Wheels or It's Only Rock And Roll.

Since we're doing a love fest, I really want to join in. This is their best album since Some Girls for me. And that means it's their best in 45 years. Let that sink in. That's a longer period than many bands even existed. I actually went back through their discography album for album to see which one would top this for me. These guys are in their 70's and 80's and have had a 60+ year career. This is not only more than anybody could realistically expect from the Rolling Stones, but this is more than most Stones fans could hope for. There are a ton of homages to their past, every Stones trope they've used during their career and it's still a very fresh sounding album. The energy, the flow, it's just really great. Sweet Sounds Of Heaven is the top song and instant love. It holds up even compared to their absolute peak from the late 60's and early 70's. This is the kind of song nobody could have expected they had left in them. But the rest of the album is quality accross the board as well without a single dud in there (for me at least). Some were instant love, some were growers, but damn they're good! I'm insanely happy about this album.

You;re right, we're slacking as a fanbase.

I refuse to even think about Christmas before Sinterklaas is over.

The real question is whether Izzy would be interested. Assuming that money is the main reason he didn't join the reunion to begin with... There's more money in touring than in albums these days. So I don't see the motivation for Izzy at all. Even if they'd throw a big chunk of money at him now, I doubt he would. We don't know how far along that stuff was and what the quality even was. I'm assuming it's more rough ideas and or song sketches than actual finished tracks. Might be nowhere near finished and even if it was they'd need to sort out a royalties construction as well.

Sadly this is GnR, so unless there's another massive leak we probably never will.

I've always quite liked Nothing. It's clearly an unfinished idea, but I like it a lot and love to know where it went from there.

If that were the case, I'd assume the final product to be a different mix. It's unlikely imo that there's reunion-era material circulating among traders. Let alone final mixes of it. So the only likely sources, to me, seem either people within GnR's operation or people within companies they work with such as the people who press the vinyls. But even for them it'd be a serious risk to their job. I'm waiting for people to confirm that the leaked The General is also the final version on the vinyl.

You've just made a terrible, terrible mistake. -
Option 1. Monsters is a hidden track. Option 2. Monster has been blended into TG as one track. Option 3: Monsters isn't on there at all. I'd consider the last option the most likely. And the most interesting. It would raise some great questions such as how the leaker got it and whether it's intended for another yet to announce single. Let's wait for someone to listen to this thing and CONFIRM whether it's there or not.

On the release day I took the day off from work (I was 24 at the time) to get it as soon as the store opened. It was a big disappointment when I got home, as almost every track that had previously leaked or been played live (which I think was 11 of the 14) was worse than the versions we'd heard at that point. Other than that the production was terrible. Especially the way they'd butchered Catcher and The Blues were depressing. Some of the unheard tracks were big letdowns too. I hated (and still hate) the vocals on the whinefest that is TIL and don't even get me started on Scraped. The Chinese Democracy album was a huge letdown for me. Which is sad, because the quality of the material in demo form was (and is) immense. Even the cover was pretty meh. The bike picture that had circulated for years and that you'd think "lol, that has to be faek. They'd never use that".

Maybe @Zint or @janrichmond? I think I've seen someone here say they saw them, but I can't remember who. Also, does Celebration Day count for you @ZoSoRose? Or did you specifically mean original Zeppelin?

not to mention other gnr-related sites like gnrontour, gnrinfo, a ton of spin off forums (damaged comes to mind, but there were a ton more) and at least 5 discord servers. Speaking of which, if we count old warroom incarnations, towel servers and miser servers, there have been at least 30. Honestly I don't know any other band in the world that has so many different fan-run platforms. -
