  1. Call it whatever you want. While Snakepit was indeed a real band effort it's obvious that in SMKC it's Slash who's in the driving seat. Usually, and again, with exception of GNR and VR, he's only recording covers for tributes, foundations, soundtracks or other projects where he is asking for to lay guitar parts down. In his actual bands or solo efforts like Slash, he usually doesn't record covers. Of course it's not impossible and you can keep your hopes high but to me the chances that he'll do a cover AND that Axl hits the studio for this project is laughable small. But hey... good luck
  2. He said it once, he said it twice. That should be enough to understand for everybody. Only butthurt Nuno fanatics keep arguing so replying to them makes no sense.
  3. Including Snakepit, how many Slash solo records are out there? 7? How many songs did he cover on those records? Exactly! Zero. Why should it be different just because the next record is more blues oriented?
  4. It's not impossible but except with GNR and VR Slash rarely records covers for his albums. I would be surprised if that happens.
  5. Responding to Nuno's post is one thing but keep saying the same shit to every user reacting makes him look like a moron.
  6. Iirc he said something like some solos deserve to be played as the originals and some not. Edit: Tboneman has already posted the original interview...
  7. Hoping for another song with Beth Hart. She would fit perfectly in a blues oriented Slash record.
  8. No of course not. But I'd bet money on that. Axl won't guest on a Slash solo record. I'd love to be wrong, though.
  9. I wonder when he's gonna release it, before or after the SMKC tour next year, and if Myles will sing some of the new tunes live.
  10. A GNR album isn't gonna be delayed because of an Slash solo record. It's not like just one or the other. Slash clearly wouldn't release anything if Guns were to deliver a whole new record. It's just a sign that GNR do not plan to release a record around that time in 2024. But who did believe in that? We're waiting for confirmed singles for months/years now. I don't need a solo record to know that there won't be a GNR album anytime soon.
  11. Aside from the reunion tour and the two singles, do you believe we'd have the anniversary box sets? Especially the UYI box set with the live recordings was worth the reunion IMO.
  12. I just listened to Far Away after many years and it fucking blew my mind. Most underrated SMKC song. That outro is pure awesomeness. Myles complements Slash in a very good way IMO.
  13. I think everyone who's now waiting for a proper blues record will be disappointed. I'd like that a lot but he just said that it's more blues oriented than his first solo record. That doesn't mean it's a blues album. That photo with Steven Tyler and Mike Clink in the studio seems promising but as long as Slash is involved in so many projects, this session doesn't have to be for the new album. I wish he invited some of the old heroes like he did on Slash and hope there's less Lovatos, Fergies and Scherzingers on the new one although Lovato's already confirmed. Don't get your hope up for Axl. He just won't guest on anything...
  14. I think I wouldn't recognize Pitman even he stood right next to me.
  15. That was bad but he did much better on Sorry before. I think it was on the Selects Brasil where he played a superb solo for that song.
  16. Slash has a lot of gold tops. Why should he use a Bonamassa one?
  17. Didn't expect anything else. Every new Slash project is something positive from my point of view.
