How must it feel for Steven to cover the first hit song GNR had after he was fired?!
(I know that the song was written during AFD years).

Well, I'm gonna play this game and dream on.
1991: December 16 Shows from Philadelphia's The Spectrum
1992: April 1st Show from Mexico's Palacio de los Deportes
1993: January 15 Show from Tokyo Dome.As alternatives, I'd like to see a warm-up show from the spring of 91' and of course an Inglewood show from August 3rd in full quality.
Extras? Won't bother myself with that - all these posters, images amd merch are made/printed for nothing and cost too much. All I need is videos/pro-shots/live cocnerts. Maybe, demos and outtakes would be nice, but only for some "hardcore" edition, as are not essential after all.
For me it’s the other way around. I have zero interest in (audio) live shows but do love demos and alternate takes of my favorite songs. I love to see how songs have evolved and progressed.
Pro shots are awesome, of course.

It could also be a picture of a physical photo.
Thats what I was thinking. A framed picture.

I highly recommend to visit the hell house. Its nothing but unreal to stand right in front of the porch where those famous band photos have been shot.

I think they quit manufacturing it several years ago.
Ah, didn’t know. I think I bought it in 2016.

If you want to buy a bottle of Nightrain go to Terner‘s Liquor next to the Viper Room on Sunset BLVD.
I am pretty sure that’s where I got my bottle last time I have been to LA.
What’s more real than buying this shitty booze on Sunset

Maybe I remember this wrong, but I could have sworn Steven did drums on the album cut of Civil War.
Correct.

Aside from being totally fictional and therefor pointless, it's also completely unrealistic. Especially the pricing. Stop believing GnR (and most of all Team Complaints) give a fuck what fans think.
Dude, you do know what a wishlist is, don’t you?
Whatever, you do know best 👍

Beside the video material my wishlist is pretty much comparable to the AFD box minus all the bullshit and the unnecessary reissues of old singles.

No. It's Matt Sorum. Matt confirmed this one day on twitter/facebook. Someone asked him who it was. It's actually just a different mix than the one found on UYI 2.
Ah, ok. Thanks.

You’ve already heard Civil War with Adler since that’s the version that’s on UYI II
And from the top of my head I think Steven is on drums on the Days of Thunder OST version on KOHD.

Dude, this sounds like a good product that would make the fans happy by giving them what they want and not being over priced, are you sure you are asking this from the right band?
I know, I know 😄

As others already mentioned, this topic should have it’s own thread. So here we go:
I don’t need any remasterd version of the UYI albums.
The boxset should be:
- demos
- instrumentals
- alternative / rough mixes
- unreleased songs (eg Ain‘t goin down)
- blu ray: perfect crime documentary (uncensored)
- blu rays: three unreleased complete gigs; one of 91, 92 and 93 each
- maybe a photobook, but definitely no tshirts or replica bullshit
- no reissues of the UYI singles
- no audio only live shows
The music should be included on vinyl and CD, lets say 4 LPs and 2 CDs.
The price should be 250€/$ max.
Standalone versions of the vinyl/blu rays would be great for those who are interested in specific items only.

Its not like GNR were the only band to have morally dubious lyrics.
The live version of Stones' Stray cat blues from the brilliant Get yer ya ya's out goes like this:
I can see that you're thirteen years old
No I don't want your I.D.
I can see you're so far from home
But it's no hanging matter
It's no capital crime
Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat
Oh yeah, don'tcha scratch like that
Oh yeah, you're a strange stray cat
Bet your mama don't know you scream like that
I bet your mother don't know you can spit like that.
You say you got a friend, that she's wilder than you
Why don't you bring her upstairs
If she's so wild then she can join in too
It's no hanging matter
It's no capital crime
Wow. Can only be topped by the disgusting original artwork of Scorpians album called Virgin Killers.

Whilst I find Duff’s latest interviews to be somewhat mind boggling, to say the least - I can’t recall having seen or heard him say anywhere that his song is about a fictional 15 year old girl.
Is there an interview I have missed where he has said this specifically? ... he’s said it more than once apparently.
Otherwise, I don’t think it’s fair to state as a fact he’s been saying his song is about a fictional 15yr old girl.
Thanks. I have got the same question.
I know about Duffs new interpretation of the ISE phrase „turn around ...“, his stupid quote regarding Izzy not being part of the reunion and moves like his silly „punk as fuck“ shirt which cost him some love within the GNR fanbase.
But I still don’t get the reasen for the open letter and his involvment in this „Michelle“-matter. Is it his explanation for the ISE lyrics even knowing that there was this serious matter his bandmate Axl seems to be involved in? Especially, what happened in September? Which song is about a 15 year old girl?
Thanks for clarification.

Even GNR never sounded so tight... After all I've seen it's the drums that makes difference, vide Fitz or Sorum.
I have been to this show. It was awesome.

I think people just have nothing better to do than bitch about every little thing that pops up in the GN'R world. I don't blame these people though, as it's a product of GN'R's own making.
Unfortunately, it’s their only product beside GNR Air shades.
... just kidding.

Duff "The King of Beers" McKagan - the ultimate villain for the GNR fanbase. He dethroned Axl.
People really need to hate someone.
You’re right. Its annoying.
I strongly believe that all this „hate“ for individual band members wouldn’t be there if there finally would be some new music the fans could focus on.

Probably my favorite video by them. It's a shame about those copyright restrictions, but that's the way it is (if even Celine Dion can't have the video for that Titanic song on her channel...).
I remember Metallica and their One video and how they eventually bought the rights to the damn movie, so they could stop paying them royalties every time the video's been shown. But, you know, that was some old, long-forgotten film, and this here...
They should simply release the existing version without the movie footage. Idiots 😄

Before all those youtube strikes there was this awesome YCBM alternate video version without the T2 footage. It was leaked a few years ago by the videos director Mark Racco along with videos of Mr Brownstone and My Michelle he did as demos before he got the YCBM job, if I do remember correctly. All footage was from the three warm up shows of the UYI tour.
By the way: Ritz 91 is one of the holy grails for me.

Yes. And it will be promoted as homecoming show and/or last show of the NITL Tour.
Cheapest ticket will be 5k $.
Deluxe ticket will be 25k$. You will be allowed to clean the bathrooms GNR used after the show (no photos allowed though).

Does anyone has ad hoc any photos of GNR in the alley?
I have a few in mind but would have to dig deep in some dusty old magazines 😄
