I know the order of mixing and mastering. There's also mastering mixes
Then there's (re)mixing the masters = remastering. Then there's mixing 20 Yr old vocals into new music = brickwalled as fuck. My cat could master Hard Skool better 😂

They got ya'll hook line and sinker .... Have we all forgotten Slash's own words not even a year ago? No new music has been written, worked on, or recorded.
Yeah, good point...... Definitely gonna be Perhaps........ It sounded gnrish at rehearsal the other week, and Glastonbury is a really big audience. Here's hoping......... But then again, this band released Silkworms as come back single, so.......... anything could happen............ Regardless of what happens, I pray earnestly that Pitman's parts remain (aka the secret sauce to CD just behind bucket)😂

Beady eyes first album was great, the roller, kill for a dream etc. really odd that it didnt really capture the public. i think Oasis were so in everyones faces and people were pissed with the break up, people had enough. They'd oversaturated. 13 years later people are thirsty again!
Love Beady Eye's second album, it had killer singles imo

Noels last album was just beaten to number 1 by Foo fighters, but he's still a big deal, maybe sub headlines festivals. Liam headlined reading and leeds and sells out stadiums an outdoor venues and every album has been number 1. Oasis are still the holy grail in british culture. Their reunion would probably selling 10 million tickets here alone.
I like that comment, "are still the holy grail in british culture" and the more I talk with people from the UK the more I realise that. I'm late to the Oasis party, but definitely get what all the fuss is about. Knebworth in 96 was it, was massive.

Liam is absolutely massive- sells out stadium tours, headlines festivals, huge.
Noel's popularity has really dipped as his music gets more different. Albums still sell ok, but as a live draw he isn't selling out venues.
In my opinion Noel's music is better, but Liam has tapped into the demand for Oasis (he plays a lot of their songs live, exactly as they are on record) and has also benefitted from doing more interviews. People seem to like him a lot now, in a way they never did.
It is interesting how the perception of them both has changed over the years. Liam is no longer the "total arsehole" he was often made out to be.
Thanks for that. Knew Liam was constantly in media but didn't realise how big concert wise he still is. Definitely knew he always plays Oasis songs live and needs them to beef up his live set.
Interesting Noel isn't selling out venues. I like 1 or 2 songs from every Liam record, but Like yourself, find Noels albums better. Listening to his current album and there's some good songs and 1 or 2 magnificently great songs on there, and you wonder if liams voice on the rest of the album if it would be the secret sauce to propel the songs to the next level.

Any chance of new song?

How big/musically popular (current music) is noel/Liam in the UK these days? What's the general consensus from brits?

Between TSI and CD it was exactly 15 years to the day (23/11) the albums were released. That’s 5479 days.
Since Chinese Democracy, its “at this moment” been 5,321 days.So unless they release another album on or before 24th November this year they will break their own record for longest gap between albums.
And no… I’ve had nothing better to do tonight than work that out.
They're definitely going to break this record............ As well as create a new one for their longest tour. This is BS, why am I not surprised 😂

Personally I do not know where this version initially surfaced. But when comparing them, I think it's pretty save to say that the version is pretty much identical to the Village leaks version. Maybe a small change in tempo or some more seconds of silence, as MJRemastered98 stated above.
Thanks. Always favoured Silkworms over Absurd, and look forward to checking it out.

Perhaps, Perhaps will debut?

Chinese is a great “guitar album”. It’s just different than classic GNR. It’s more about the parts and leads than being riff driven (aside from the title track)
And I find CD a lot more melodic than previous stuff.

The next chapter deals with January to June of 2016: JANUARY-JUNE 2016 - SLASH AND DUFF JOINS GUNS N' ROSES, TOMMY AND CHRIS LEAVES THE BAND, AXL JOINS AC/DC
Not a long time period at all but by Jove the amount of things happening and the levels of excitement that were reached! It started out by Slash and Duff being confirmed to having rejoined Guns N' Roses, something that was highly anticipated after the events of 2015. With Duff coming in it was clear Tommy was indeed out of the band, something which was also kind of in the cards after the previous two years. What was a little bit more unexpected, was Chris leaving the band not long after, in a huff and a puff, and then being replaced by the band's first and only female member, Melissa. The rest of the lineup was also confirmed to include Dizzy, Richard and Frank, basically creating a hybrid lineup comprised of "classic Guns" and "most recent Guns" As if this wasn't enough action and drama for at least one GN'R year, we then learnt that Axl would join AC/DC for a tour in Europe, replacing Brian Johnson who suffered from hearing issues, and basically becoming the frontman of two of the biggest rock bands in history, simultaneously. These news were quickly followed by successful shows by the new GN'R and a successful Axl/DC tour in Europe. Wow!
Hay, thanks SM, this is amazing. Not interested in previous 7 years as it culminates in what I consider the worst gnr period in my opinion, in that, heaps of time, massive non stop touring and 2 singles brickwalled to hell.
But didn't know this site existed, and looking forward to delving deep into gnr 2000s period w/bucket/robin/josh/Brian. This is so cool, thanks alot.

Na, given they're been on tour for so long, they should start with Back n' Black. Really mix things up lol

Given gnr's troubled history of releasing music, wouldn't it be funny if Axl was only laying down vox to mime at glastinbury , so he sounds good on TV, and doesn't sound like fellow muso, Mince Neil.
