Pretty good setlist. Still want at least one new song in there, and I'd much rather hear Locomotive over any of the other Illusion deep cuts, but it's a step in the right direction.

Down On The Farm is a perfect choice for the band these days. More choices like that, please.

Where’s “Sweet Child” and “PC”? I doubt “Knockin on Heaven’s Door” is gone, but I’d be one happy camper.
KOHD has its own 5-page setlist entry.

Unless they open the show with One In A Million, I'm not getting antsy about any surprises. Bad Apples and Bad Obsession rumours aren't exactly blowing my skirt up at this point.

It’ll be the same show with Anything Goes and maybe Breakdown added 5 weeks in.
Bringing out the big guns.

GNR are definitely prolific when it comes to wasting time, though. I mean, glass half full, at least they're prolific in something.

Fun to see this thread getting "hot" due to the discussion turning to another, more active band.

Even AI-generated GNR music won't come out.

Knowing GNRLand, Fortus probably hit 'Send' by accident and it meant to say, "I have no knowledge of that."

Sounds like an infant mixed it. *Giant thud* bass drum *wet fart* snare.

Zero. I would see them again, but I'm not travelling to see a stadium show for a band with no new material.
-
Two new songs followed by a year off. They better knock it out of the park with the two songs then.

The numbers are obviously how many new songs GNR has in the can, ready for release.

Haven't you been paying attention ? They really want to, they have some stuff, that is the plan after the tour. They are in the phase of trying to figure out how to release music in 2023

I think Slash forgot he was in GNR at the time of these quotes.

These threads are quite cyclical, and annoyingly so. It's only a matter of time before we hit the "well, Axl recorded Rock The Rock, so he must want to record new music" phase of this thread.

The fact that it happened at all. Would’ve been a far more interesting prospect in the 2000s. Now? It’s the definition of stagnation.

I’d be perfectly fine with them touring behind a 4-5 song EP of freshly recorded songs. The fact that they can’t get their act together to do that speaks volumes about any new music.

Damn, and there goes that GNR not taking adivce from forum experts like @Zeppelin @Gordon Comstock and @Natty and still do a summertour that also plays in stadiums. Well, I guess they can afford the good stuff.
Maybe you should manage the band, since you’re lodged so far up their ass. Just because they announced it doesn’t mean it’s a significant success right out of the gate.

Yeah, they blew it. And if it is a stadium tour, then my enthusiasm has already waned dramatically.

Just nice to hear something fresh, even if we have heard the leaks. Brings some life to all of this for me.
