  1. Interesting... The assumption that the rehearsed song was The General is based on this particular snippet from Buenos Aires (Shacklermyrye compared the drums with the phone clip). At the time, many people thought that this same snippet had some similarities with the outro of Oklahoma.

  3. Those soundcheck snippets from last year sounded very promising (if the rehearsed song was indeed The General).
  4. I think it's from @Shacklermyrye's effort to decipher the lyrics on the phone clip with AI. It was in the same video where he compared the drum beat on the phone clip with the one from the "mysterious" soundcheck clip from that year.
  5. True, nobody should care now. But it started from the State of Grace = The General conspiracy theory and the (ridiculous, imo) argument that S.O.G. is the only song that had never been mentioned before the leaks (whereas Perhaps was in that track list), so it must have either become another song (The General) or abandoned.
  6. I think he just means the same screenshot that has widely circulated after 2019 (and posted multiple times since then, including just a couple of pages back in this very thread ) and it's supposed to be from an email dating from January 2018. Isn't it the same screenshot that has been shared multiple times since the locker leaks? Why do you make it look like you have a screenshot that the rest of us haven't seen? The issue, for me at least, is not whether it's real or not (it probably is, for what I know), but whether it was shared in public before 2019.
  7. The bullshit URL was for The General (they just copied the URL for the Perhaps placeholder page on Apple Music, replaced the song name but didn't think about replacing the item number to make it believable). The Atlas thing on 4Chan and Reddit (and Discogs recently) was fake, too. Could be the same troll (the guys on that yt channel) or a different one.
  8. Yeah, this interview was shot backstage at Alpine Valley (first show of the UYI tour). It was the MTV interview (Famous Last Words) from the year before that was shot in Axl's Hollywood Hills house.

  11. Another interview: https://www.musicradar.com/news/duff-mckagan-interview-i-wasnt-initially-a-bass-player-i-was-a-guitar-player-and-a-drummer-so-my-things-a-little-weird-i-write-left-handed-i-play-right-handed-theres-a-bunch-of-weird-st
  12. The Hard Skool CD and 7'' didn't have liner notes. But I suppose the digital release will have, like Perhaps did.
  13. Yeah, if it"s the German store, the date changed to Nov. 4 last week. It's still Oct. 27 on the US and UK stores though.
  14. Maybe you saw the list that was based on the video and was posted at that time: https://www.gnrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=11088
  15. I think the people who remember seeing the screenshot itself posted on public forums before 2019 (again, I'm not talking about PM's or anything like that, as there's no way for me to know that) might just conflate things and what they had actually seen was the list of the tracks mentioned in MSL's blackmail video (which included some titles that were not known before that time, like Tonto, but not Perhaps). I'm sure that if the actual screenshot had circulated publicly from 2011-2019, there would be many forum threads from that time with people trying to decipher what the letters next to the track names mean ("V", "L", etc.). And there are no traces of threads like that.
  16. No, we don't think any of that, lol. It's just that as the release is getting closer, GN'R fans' paranoia and tendency to conspiracy is going in full mode, so a mention of a theory by one poster is enough to make other posters subscribe to it or say it's plausible etc.
  17. There are only few videos (so far) from this show, unfortunately. Shadow Of Your Love
  18. I'll take you at your word. However, I'll still have my doubts until I see a link to an old forum post or something containing the screenshot. Then I'll be happy to have been proven wrong.
  19. For the record, I'm not debating on whether the track list is real (I think it probably is). What I'm debating is whether it was shared in public before 2019 (like I said, there's no way to know if it was shared via PM's, for example, so I would have to take the people who say they had seen it, some of whom I trust, at their word) and I'm sure that it wasn't. I have dug deep into the forums and the only thing I have found that was shared in public was this (which was merely the titles mentioned in the video): https://www.gnrevolution.com/viewtopic.php?id=11088
  20. I don't think it's multiple users. It's about 5 people, I think, and the rest rely on these 5 people.
  21. I've been here since 2016 and never saw it before 2019. Maybe it was shared among some people in private, however I'm 99% sure that this particular screenshot didn't circulate in public forums before that time. The only thing that circulated before 2019 was a list of the tracks mentioned in MSL's blackmail videos, which included Tonto, Going Down etc., but not Perhaps or Nothing.
