  1. It's not the same price for all artists, though, so I guess it depends on the artist, too. E.g.: https://intro.live/desktop-artist-main-profile/alex-skolnick https://intro.live/desktop-artist-main-profile/jennifer-batten The platform itself uses the term "meet and greet":

  5. Another quote from the interview with Classic Rock Germany (auto-translated): You have 60 songs already recorded... Yes, and since we've been on tour with Guns N' Roses, I've already added another 15 ideas. Before I even go on tour with LIGHTHOUSE, I'll probably release another solo record. There's so much material out there and my management agrees that we need to get it out. What should we wait for? For me to be 70? * I wish Axl thought along the same lines...
  6. I guess not many people are queuing for this, probably because it's too expensive and he's doing only the 5-minute option, since there are still meet and greet slots available. Other artists on the same platform charge $100 for 15 minutes and less for the 5-minute option.

  8. It's in the German interview https://www.a-4-d.com/t8070-2023-11-dd-classic-rock-germany-a-few-chords-and-the-truth-duff From auto-translation: How does it actually feel to be praised by Bob Dylan? (laughs) That's something, right? I remember it was a Tuesday evening. Suddenly I was constantly receiving messages from friends all over the world. Even Axl reached out to me and said, "Dude, have you seen that?" For the music I write, that's probably the greatest honor you can receive. I don't know him personally, the man is Bob Dylan after all. I don't even know what to say about that.
  9. Another one: https://www.theguardian.com/music/2023/oct/17/guns-n-roses-bassist-duff-mckagan
  10. Duff's interviews and to an extent Slash's interviews, too are like the GN'R setlists. They do many promo interviews, but only we read most or all of them, so they're boring to us because they say more or less the same things. But to interviewers and potentially casual readers who hear it for the first time, Duff's pancreas story is interesting.
  11. I agree. If we're talking about the rehashed CD era songs, I prefer the singles approach as well, but provided that they are released in a more timely fashion, e.g. a single every two or three months, and not every couple of years, lol. Waiting two years for one song is too much.
  12. Duff's full interview with Classic Rock Germany has been released (as you all may remember, there was a quote from it - the one about "GN'R related news" - in an online review of the Frankfurt show which later disappeared from the website of the magazine). There's nothing about GN'R in this one, as far as I can tell. If anyone is interested in reading it (in German): https://www.a-4-d.com/t8070-2023-11-dd-classic-rock-germany-a-few-chords-and-the-truth-duff He also did an interview with an Italian magazine (in Italian): https://www.a-4-d.com/t8071-2023-10-dd-guitar-club-magazine-italy-interview-with-duff
  13. I don't know if the song will be good (for my taste) or not. But I would be willing to bet on the following (and I don't do this often): 1. It's not an instrumental. 2. It's a reworked version with Slash and Duff and not the "original" version with the NuGnR musicians. 3. It's not State of Grace.
  14. I see that Dizzy and Gilby are also on this platform.
  15. Another interview: Article: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/guns-n-roses-duff-mckagan-meeting-lighthouse-susan-holmes-mckagan-27-years-ago-184608819.html
  16. That's a good point. Assuming that the prose in the article follows the flow of the conversation with Duff, the context of the quote is that GN'R have released only two songs so far (they forgot Absurd) but not an album yet. So it makes sense that the question was about an album specifically.

  18. I'm very skeptical about an album, but yes, everything that Slash said would happen has happened, even though with some delay.
  19. This is all true for the people who hear him on e.g. Welcome to the Jungle now after not having heard him in years. I didn't say anything different as far as this goes. Actually I have said before that Axl sounds really bad or plain awful on the songs that the majority of people know. But here I was talking about us, who know all the other songs in the set and don't go to the shows to hear only the hits. There is no reason to subscribe to the "consensus" that Axl is like Vince Neil or whatever, because we know that he sounds okay on half of the set. We can admit both this fact and the fact that he sounds terrible on most of the popular songs.
  20. And here we go again. Duff: The rockers have been on tour virtually full-time since they reformed seven years ago. They’ve released just two new songs, Hard Skool and Perhaps, but McKagan reassures fans a new album will happen eventually, promising: “Don’t worry, we’ve got this.” https://www.express.co.uk/entertainment/music/1824074/duff-mckagan-guns-n-roses-new-album
