Where did Eddie say this? I think Slash and Duff could come up with some really cool stuff together, which might inspire Axl creatively also. And if they got with a good producer then I think they can still make one last good album. No, SMKC is doing another album after this tour. As long as Myles and the rest of the guys are available and interested SMKC will be around in some form or another.

Yeah I agree. Slash did some cool parts on them but they sound way more like "Axl songs" than "GnR songs" if you get what I mean. It's interesting to listen to but I wouldn't be playing them over and over the way that I did Absurd and HS (and still do). Ugh right? That would be a big deal but I think they missed their chance to capitalize on that.

Just means they mastered it louder, the mix itself is fine.

I don't get it either, I love HS. Great straightfoward rock song. The mix isn't even that bad, it's consistent with most modern rock records.

Really hope they don't go with Dave Cobb and his terrible mixes again. 4 wasn't bad but it could've been so much better.

Yeah I agree, the general public wouldn't be that into these songs either. That's why I'm going to reserve judgement until they're out on streaming and I can listen for real.

And Absurd. Honestly Hard Skool was the perfect opportunity for a big release, I really wish they had done major promotion around it like what the Stones are doing now with their new album. As usual, they blew it.

Honestly I would prefer that they bring back some of the songs from WOF and LTD that they didn't do on the last US run. Stuff like Mind Your Manners, Wicked Stone, Bent to Fly, etc.

Yeah the sound guy was doing the same thing at my show in Phoenix too. It's fine to turn the guitars up a little at certain spots but not that much.

Cool let's see some of your shows then. There's plenty of other musicians who play longer shows and still look like they're into it. Even Frank himself seemed more into it 2016-2019.

With regards to Frank, the difference was immediately noticable after seeing Sean Kinney play with Alice In Chains. You can see Sean putting in effort and intention, even on the slow songs. He's driving the band forward. Then Frank comes on and he's just on autopilot, just one song after another. It's subtle but as a drummer myself I picked up on it pretty quickly. It's more of a body language thing I guess but it affects how the song sounds and how the band plays together.

Maybe, but there's been a few times where most of them look like they're on autopilot. Axl is the only one giving 100% the whole time. The venue change wouldn't really affect them. Yeah I hope we get something cool in the encore too.

No Regardless of tempo Frank is playing with less energy than in the past. They're on SCOM btw.
