It might be using date from other search engines and download websites. People search for Oklahoma or the general on other sites along with the words gun's n roses and it recognises it and when you type in Atlas or whatever it pulls data from other sites to suggest gnr. 

I think this is what's actually happening. 

But then why were only people in the UK getting results? And then Western Europe? Then the US? If it’s pulling off of other search engines wouldn’t the search results always show up the same regardless of country? 

This is what happens when you starve a fan base of new content for the better part of 30 years. 

If this is an album (god willing) I hope Seven and Cuban Skies pop up as well. Always been super curious about those two

If this is happening (and it seems likely) they should drop all this at once. Get it all out there. Play the shit out of it live.

I’m in the US. I’ve searched for all these songs. Almost all of them have come up the first time I searched and then not again. I’m wondering if GNR comes up as a suggestion because of a recent addition to the system. But once the algorithm  recognizes that track isn’t available yet it reverts to released tracks. Just a thought.

Agreed. So strange that they have not posted about this at all. 

I could not be less interested in box sets. We have been listening to these songs for 30 years now. Granted they are awesome songs but if this is the only thing released this year without any new tracks….youser

If they put a bonus discs with new songs in the box set it may get some hardcore fans to buy it

I can’t tell if this is a joke thread or not. If not the OP is so earnest it’s almost endearing. I will say this-Axl does look to be in the best shape physically he has been in since 2006.

Chinese Democracy should have been released in 2000. All of the village session rough mixes were dated 1999-2000. To answer your question there are no mainstream radio super hits on that album but The Blues, Hard Skool, Atlas, CD, and IRS all could have been singles that could have gotten significant air play in 2000. Better doesn’t count because it was finished much later. Anything after 2002 was really too late for CD and it’s potential impact on mainstream culture.

Cannot believe better is so far ahead. Very good pop rocker but TWAT is on the epic masterpiece list with November Rain and Estranged. 

I’m constantly amazed at how all over the place people are with this album. Most of us like it but what we like on it is so individual. I voted CD for the third round in a row. 

People are all over the map. I voted CD even though I think it’s a good rocker I just don’t enjoy it as much as the remaining songs. 

I wonder if Axl regrets not putting all the best stuff he had on CD? Songs like Rhiad and Scraped are such bottom of the barrel tracks. 

Of course it’s scraped. Still such a massive disappointment that one of the 3 unheard songs on CD was this turd 

I’m sorry why are we doing Spaghetti Incident lol?! I hate admit it but I’ve listened to this album so infrequently I don’t even know what songs I hate or like the most

Yesterdays should be 10, pretty tied up should be 9, and 14 years should be 8. Otherwise this list is pretty good. 

Estranged is the best song on either Illusion album and is in the argument for greatest GNR song period. Of course it was going to win.
