  1. Move To The City acoustic version Ritz concert Hard Skool Might not even be the best but these are my personal favourites of the "new" releases.
  2. Trailer park has more class and style than these shirts.
  3. Fun fact: Gilby is the only ex GNR member ever joined by Axl (not the other way around) both on stage and in the studio.
  4. Zero chance. Axl did a great job filling in for Brian, so AC/DC could do the shows they had already booked. But it's Brian's place to perform what is likely going to be the last AC/DC tour and I believe Angus wouldn't have booked any shows if Brian wouldn't be up for it.
  5. I get some Bowie, AIC, Soundgarden and yeah some Sabbath/Ozzy vibes from these.
  6. Family can be annoying but unless you hate them just tell and show them you love them, make amends, let them be as they are, ignore their stupidity and never hold a grudge for too long. Hug them any chance you get, have diner with them, laugh about their stupid jokes and listen to the ever same stories one more time. Those stupid fucking routines, these annoying table and sofa talks...cherish them, cherish the fuck out of that while you can. Life is so fucking short and most people never really know what they got 'til it's gone.
  7. No doubt about Slash having a couple of good tunes ready, but Duff is not a good songwriter, maybe if he condenses those 60 songs down to 10 he might have a tune in there or two. Lyrics from Del James is a great idea, been a while since I read his stuff but I liked his tone and the images he painted there.
  8. They could ask Chris Stapleton, Neil Young, AIC/Jerry Cantrell, Dave Grohl, AC/DC, Pink (more like that guy from Sweden who writes all her songs), Carrie Underwood or whoever writes her songs...I doubt any of them would hang up if Axl called. Besides, Slash literally played with everyone and their dog's kitchen sink. They could pile quality songwriters higher than the Empire State if they wanted. The problem I see is those recent lawsuits, no A lister in their right mind would want to be connected with Axl and GNR right now, given the current social climate.
  9. Got rid of the old one a while ago and went without one for a while. She picked a PERFECT avatar for me, couldn't be happier with it!
  10. No worries, he busy. You know, hiding from authorities and all.
  11. Wish I had some rare GNR memorabilia to give away to celebrate but I don't collect any of that so all I have is a big THANK YOU for all the fun. Some really cool people on here...but 1000 posts...man I guess I just spend way too much time on this board.
  12. Not that I wish drama upon anyone, but yeah a little more testosterone would be very much appreciated. All roses and no thorns make guns a dull band.
  13. Truth be told, that song would stand out anywhere. It's incredible. I like the album version but I prefer the demo with Brian May on guitar.
  14. I agree, it was a different vibe and I loved it, especially this whole underground and cult following thing about it. Those shows were...I don't know, they just had a different energy about them. Some mystique and a strange circus vibe (which I loved), yet at the same time there was a very humble element to it. Band was tight and they sounded amazing live. You could see them in small arenas but also at big festivals and tickets were a fraction of today's prices. I would spend more money on gas than tickets, driving across Europe to see them multiple times between 2002 and 2010. 2006 being my favorite shows hands down. Axl had a different aura in 2006, really different from before or after. I remember one show I dragged a friend along who wasn't too keen on GNR and especially Axl. I said just come and see for yourself you won't regret it. When they opened with WTTJ his jaw dropped to the floor and after Paradise City he had tears in his eyes, freaking out like a squirrel on acid, said this should have been televised nationwide and how it was the best concert ever and Axl is the greatest and what have you, totally excited, praising Axl all the way back and to this day.
  15. The real fun starts when that time machine act will be implemented nationwide. I'm expecting 90% of the rich and famous getting their reputation destroyed and showered with lawsuits - unless or until they actually do worship the devil. Sad thing is people have no idea who the devil is and some find out the hard way right now. Wrote about it in an earlier post but it just triggered Karens to parrot conditioned narrative, so no point digging deeper, some people really are stupid and it might not even be their fault. I hope for the best, for everyone.
  16. He did reply, through his lawyer, who isn't worth his salt in my opinion. Client doesn't have any recollection isn't denial, defense or even damage control, in context of the accusations and current social climate it's an open invitation for further escalation.
  17. Please explain how politics have nothing to do with the legislative grounding for the whole case? People read "Trump" and "agenda" and jump on me like trained dogs for digging a little deeper into the whole situation than just the black and white surface they are being provided with from the narrative. Nevermind, I rest my case. No point discussing that any further.
  18. The shows I went to mean a lot more to me than the actual album. Met the band, made friends, lived my life. Mostly good memories, some not so good ones too. Anyway, in hindsight none of it really matters. But it seemed to at the time and I guess that's ok.
  19. More like offering compensation for expenses to sign NDA's or fully setting things straight with legal comparison - cheaper and less damaging to the b(r)and. Not saying they could have prevented everything, but that woman went public with her story years before she filed a lawsuit. Her book and her participation in that documentary should have been monitored and viewed as an opportunity to sort things out by management. They ignored it. I don't blame her at all for seeking justice now that she was given the opportunity thanks to that time machine act. However,, people need to understand if the democrats hadn't implemented the time machine act to fuck Trump first and foremost, that woman could have never filed suit in the first place. If they really had the intention to provide victims with an opportunity for justice, that law would not have been for a limited time only and not just in New York. How about other victims in say California or Texas or anywhere? They can not file suit for things that happened long ago - just because it didn't happen in New York City. It is an agenda and Axl is more of a collateral damage than actually being held responsible by a morally lawful standard. I understand most people hate Trump but in this case some threw the enemy of their enemy under the bus because it was social status quo at the time. This whole situation is completely fucked up and depressing and I just feel sorry for everyone involved. We as fans could be talking about pro shots from the last tour and a new album at this point, instead there's a new lawsuit thrown at GNR every week and we are discussing legal shit, politics and social agendas. It sucks. If that woman speaks the truth she deserves justice. Same for Kat and any other victim.
  20. That time machine law was implemented out of thin air by the democrats in New York exclusively for a limited time only and one specific reason, which was not to get victims justice but to hurt a political opponent, namely Donald Trump. Guess Axl expressing hate for Trump on Twitter, sporting Ukraine flags on stage, cancelling OIAM, paying millions in taxes and all other appeasement, support and obedience to the agenda wasn't enough. They want their cake and eat it too. Proper management would have seen the writing on the wall far in advance and advised their client accordingly to get their affairs in order before going on one of the highest grossing tours.
